Background: ALEX multiplex platform has been recently commercialized but its clinical utility as quantitative technique respect to ImmunoCAP-singleplex as the reference method has not yet been confirmed on patients suffering from nut allergy and co-sensitization to different nuts.
Methods: 58 serum samples from patients with nut allergy from a Mediterranean population were assayed in parallel by ALEX-multiplex and ImmunoCAP-singleplex techniques. Patients were diagnosed based on clinical symptoms and positive skin prick tests (SPTs).

A confirmed case of COVID-19 was defined as a positive result on real-time reverse-transcriptase-polymerase-chain-reaction (RT-PCR) assay of nasal and pharyngeal swab specimens.

Multiple lentiginosis are seen in many multisystemic diseases and during the course of many treatment schemes in the area of application of topical substances, PUVA, or more disseminated reactions in the case of systemic drugs. We report a case of a 67-year-old man with multiple comorbidities including vitiligo, and a recent diagnosis of inflammatory bowel disease, who developed millimeter-size, circular, brown macules in photoexposed areas both affected and not affected by vitiligo while was taken azathioprine, which disappeared after drug withdrawal. Biopsy showed groups of apoptotic keratinocytes, basal hyperpigmentation, and slight dermal inflammation.

Objective: The aim of this study is to evaluate the effectiveness of a combined technique for sentinel lymph node (SLN) localization and surgical staging of endometrial carcinoma.
Methods: This is a single-center prospective observational study carried out from September 2011 to December 2013 including women with a diagnosis of endometrial cancer and scheduled for surgery. A regional lymph node mapping was obtained using SPECT-CT (cervical injection of Tc) the day before surgery.
