Objectives: Antisynthetase syndrome (ASyS) is a rare autoimmune disease. We aimed to determine clinical, biological, radiological, and evolutive profiles of ASyS patients with anti-PL7 or anti-PL12 autoantibodies.

Methods: We performed a retrospective study that included adults with overt positivity for anti-PL7/anti-PL12 autoantibodies and at least one Connors' criterion.

Introduction: Harmonized neuropsychological assessment for neurocognitive disorders, an international priority for valid and reliable diagnostic procedures, has been achieved only in specific countries or research contexts.

Methods: To harmonize the assessment of mild cognitive impairment in Europe, a workshop (Geneva, May 2018) convened stakeholders, methodologists, academic, and non-academic clinicians and experts from European, US, and Australian harmonization initiatives.

Objective: This article describes the percutaneous technique of a minimally invasive basal closing wedge osteotomy for correction of hallux valgus.

Indications: This procedure allows correction of severe deformity with a minimally invasive approach.

Contraindications: No specific contraindication; a fusion would be preferred for an arthritic tarsometatarsal or metatarsophalangeal joint.

Hinged total knee arthroplasty for fracture cases: Retrospective study of 52 patients with a mean follow-up of 5 years.

Introduction: Hinged total knee arthroplasty (hTKA) is one of the treatment options available for complex fractures around an intact knee or an existing implant. The primary objective of this multicenter study was to evaluate the medium-term outcomes of hTKA for fractures. The secondary objective was to analyze the complications and risk factors based on fracture type, predisposition and time to surgery.

Method: All mature infants with nonsyndromic unilateral cleft lip and palate (NSUCLP) born between 2004 and 2007 were included. Information concerning growth was collected.

Purpose Of The Study: We tested in vitro the keratinocytes capacity for division and differentiation. The donor site was the human foreskin.

Patients And Methods: For 12 months, we harvested 18 foreskins after circumcision.

The status of CDKN2A alpha (p16INK4A) and beta (p14ARF) transcripts in thyroid tumour progression.

CDKN2A locus on chromosome 9p21 encodes two tumour suppressor proteins pl6INK4A, which is a regulator of the retinoblastoma (RB) protein, and p14ARF, which is involved in the ARF-Mdm2-p53 pathway. The aim of this study was to determine if CDKN2A gene products are implicated in differentiated thyroid carcinogenesis and progression. We used real-time quantitative RT-PCR and immunohistochemistry to assess both transcripts and proteins levels in 60 tumours specimens.

Early repair for infants with cleft lip and nose.

Objective: To study the results 10 years after early surgical cleft lip and nose repair.

Patients And Methods: We present the outcome of 123 early cleft lip repairs whose condition was managed in a multidisciplinary team according to a strict protocol. We give the observation results of operations of a single surgeon's neonatal surgery over a 10-year period in term of aesthetic assessments and dental arch relationships.

Expression of TAp73 and DeltaNp73 isoform transcripts in thyroid tumours.

Aim: This study was aimed to determine p73 status in thyroid tumours.

Methods: Differential expression of the TAp73, DeltaTAp73 transcripts was measured in a panel of 60 thyroid malignancies by quantitative RT-PCR.

Results: By comparison to normal thyroid tissue surrounding the tumours, we observed significant downregulation of TP73 transcripts in adenomas and in differentiated carcinomas.

Surgical treatment of haemangioma in infants.

Haemangiomas usually can be identified by their clinical course. They are characterised by presentation at birth or shortly thereafter, and a rapid proliferative phase over the first 12 months. The haemangioma then usually stabilises and slowly involutes over a period of 5-7 years.

[Early repair for infants with cleft lip. Retrospective study of 263 cleft lip repairs].

This study attempts to define the effect of early repair on the surgical procedure and immediate outcome of cleft lip surgery. This noninvasive technique provides a morphological representation of blood flow within a blood vessel. This in vitro study in pulsed flow enabled three-dimensional reconstruction of blood flow in the bifurcation of the pulmonary artery with automatic shifting of the ultrasound probe and an integral digital transfer of the echographic data.
