A new glucosyl flavone, 5,7,2',5'-tetrahydroxyflavone 7--β-d-glucopyranoside, named loeflingiin, together with apigenin 6--glucoside (isovitexin), coumarins citropten and isompinellin, triterpenoids betulin and betulinic acid, and a mixture of phytosterols β-sitosterol, stigmasterol and campesterol were isolated for the first time from the leaves of wild L. () collected in the Iraqi Kurdistan region. The plant is used by local people to treat wounds and as a vulnerary remedy.

Background: Our previous study investigated the levels of soluble growth factors in the conditioned media of bone marrow-derived mesenchymal stem cells (BMSCs) pre-treated with thiazolidinedione solutions. The present study aimed to investigate the complex intracellular proteins extracted from BMSCs pre-treated with pioglitazone and/or rosiglitazone using proteomics.
Methods: The proliferative effect of the identified protein on MCF-7 cells that interacted non-adhesively with BMSCs pre-treated with pioglitazone and/or rosiglitazone was evaluated using cell culture inserts and conditioned media.

Circular RNAs (circRNAs) are a group of transcripts generally known to be non-coding transcripts, but occasionally producing short peptides. Circ_Ttc3/miR-148a, circ_TLK1/miR-106a-5p, circ_VMA21/miR-9-3p, circ_0068,888/miR-21-5p, circ_VMA21/miR-199a-5p, circ_AFF2/miR-375, circ_0008360/miR-135b-5p and circ-FBXW7/miR-216a-3p are examples of circRNA/miRNA pairs that contribute in the pathogenesis of immune-related conditions.
