The proteins of Nipah virus ascribe to its lifecycle and are crucial to infections caused by the virus. In the absence of approved therapeutics, these proteins can be considered as drug targets. This study examined the potential of fifty-three (53) natural compounds to inhibit Nipah virus fusion glycoprotein (NiV F) and matrix protein (NiV M) in silico.

Towards sustainable resource management: A short and long-run dynamics of mineral production on ecological footprint.

The effect of mineral production on ecological footprint is examined in this study while controlling for economic growth, renewable energy consumption, and trade openness as additional determinants for Pakistan. On the empirical front, the study uses the "Dynamic Autoregressive Distributed Lag (DYNARDL)" simulations for the data collected between 1990 and 2021. The result portrays movement to the long-run equilibrium relationship when considering the ecological footprint as the outcome variable amidst mineral production, economic growth, renewable energy consumption, and trade openness as the covariates.

Does environmental policy stringency improve nature's health in BRICS economies? Implications for sustainable development.

In our groundbreaking exploration, we meticulously delve into the relationship between environmental policy stringency, international trade dynamics, and financial openness within the BRICS group (Brazil, Russia, India, China, and South Africa) spanning from 1996 to 2021. With a focus on critical variables such as economic growth and technological innovation, our empirical findings challenge conventional wisdom. Surprisingly, we found that those stringent environmental policies, when standing alone, do not invariably lead to reduce CO emissions.

Development of a Supported Education Program for Students with Severe Mental Disorders in India.

Background: The onset of severe mental disorders (SMDs) is during adolescence or young adulthood, which affects the well-being and the educational aspirations of the students. Models of supported education practiced in the West are not culturally suitable for Indian students or the Indian education system. This study aimed to develop a Supported Education Program (SEP) for students with SMDs to help them with academic reintegration in an Indian context.

Integrated Home-Based Palliative Care in Motor Neuron Disease: A Case Report from Low- Middle Income Country.

In many international care guidelines, multidisciplinary palliative care forms a key to optimum management in Motor Neuron Disease (MND). We describe the home-based palliative care interventions for a client with MND and his family from a Low and Middle-income country context. This report also discusses the advantages and challenges of the same with suggestions for sustaining the quality of care for neuro palliative conditions.
