Objective: To profile the serum metabolites and metabolic pathways in colorectal cancer (CRC) patients associated with spleen-deficiency and qi-stagnation syndrome (SDQSS) or damp-heat syndrome (DHS).

Methods: From May 2020 to January 2021, CRC patients diagnosed with traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) syndromes of SDQSS or DHS were enrolled. The clinicopathological data of the SDQSS and DHS groups were compared.

For the characterization test, a nanosilver antibacterial gel was created first.

Non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a common histological subtype of lung cancer, which occupies 80-85% of the proportion in all lung cancer cases. Therefore, this study was designed to clarify the role and underlying molecular mechanisms of circFAM126A in NSCLC. The real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction (RT-qPCR) assay was conducted to assess circFAM126A, FAM126A, miR-613, and IRS2 expression in NSCLC tissues and cells.

Safety and efficacy of nimodipine combined with flunarizine in patients with angioneurotic headache.

Objective: To observe the role of nimodipine combined with flunarizine on angioneurotic headache.

Methods: Altogether 101 patients with angioneurotic headache were divided into the control group (CG, n=51) and the therapy group (TG, n=50). Patients in the CG were given nimodipine, while patients in the TG were given flunarizine on the basis of nimodipine.

The present study aimed to investigate the role of NACC1 in NPC and elucidate the underlying mechanisms. Therefore, NACC1 expression in the normal nasopharyngeal epithelial cell line, NP69, and various NPC cell lines was determined by reverse transcription-quantitative PCR and western blot analyses.

This meta-analysis aimed to assess the diagnostic accuracy of lung ultrasonography in pneumonia-affected pediatric patients. Literature search of published articles in Medline, Web of Science, Scopus, Embase and Journal of Web till September 2020 were reviewed for the predescribed accuracy assessors. In compliance with the inclusion and exclusion criteria, two researchers independently screened the literature, collected the results and assessed the risks of bias using the Quality Assessment of Diagnostic Accuracy Studies-2 (QUADAS-2) tool.

Materials And Methods: Bone marrow-derived macrophages (BMDMs) and mouse peritoneal macrophages (MPMs) collected from ApoE knockout mice upon oxidation low lipoprotein (Ox-LDL) administration were performed to test the expression of Dkk2.

Construction of nomograms for nasopharyngeal carcinoma containing primary tumor size and SEER stage.

Background: At present, little attention has been paid to the impact of primary tumor size on the survival of nasopharyngeal carcinoma (NPC). We aimed to construct predictive nomograms for NPC that contain primary tumor size and Surveillance, Epidemiology, and End Results (SEER) stage as factors with the use of a national population-based registry.

Methods: A total of 1,574 NPC patients diagnosed between 2004 and 2011 were identified from the SEER database.
