N-acetylglucosaminyltransferase V (GnT-V)-mediated N-glycosylation of VE-cadherin regulates the dissociation of the VE-cadherin-β-catenin complex to modulate monocyte adhesion, but GnT-V overexpression cannot rescue monocyte adhesion induced by interleukin-1β.
