The purpose of this study is to analyze the large deflection problem of bimodular functionally graded truncated thin conical shells under the transverse mechanical load and non-uniform thermal load, in which two different boundary constraints of the truncated shell with two ends simply supported and fully fixed are considered. It is assumed that the temperature distribution along the thickness direction satisfies the Fourier law of heat transfer, and the material properties change exponentially along the thickness direction while different properties in tension and compression are considered. The geometric equation of the conical shell is established based on the equivalent method of curvature correction of von-Kármán deformation theory, and the analytical solution of the problem is obtained by Ritz method.

The interaction between molecular targeted therapy drugs and target proteins is crucial with regard to the drugs' anti-tumor effects. Electric fields can change the structure of proteins, which determines the interaction between drugs and proteins. However, the regulation of the interaction between drugs and target proteins and the anti-tumor effects of electric fields have not been studied thoroughly.

This study aims to explore the temporal dynamics of the relationships between problematic social media use(PSMU), self-transcendence values, and school adaptation among college students. Methods This study employed longitudinal cross-lagged analysis and structural equation modeling to investigate whether there is a mutual influence among PSMU, self-transcendence values, and school adaptation. Additionally, the study explored whether these variables serve as intermediaries in the associations between the other two variables.

The selection of suitable raw materials as adsorbents is a key factor in effectively removing phosphorus from water. As an industrial by-product, soda residue exhibits high porosity and surface area, which can effectively adsorb pollutants. Magnetic lanthanum-iron soda residue (La-Fe-CSR) was synthesized using the co-precipitation method, and its characterization and mechanism for removing phosphate were thoroughly investigated.

Cervical cancer poses a significant health risk to women. Deep learning methods can assist pathologists in quickly screening images of suspected lesion cells, greatly improving the efficiency of cervical cancer screening and diagnosis. However, existing deep learning methods rely solely on single-scale features and local spatial information, failing to effectively capture the subtle morphological differences between abnormal and normal cervical cells.

In most studies, the penetration of nanoparticles into tumors was mainly dependent on the enhanced permeability and retention (ERP) effect. However, the penetration of nanoparticles would be limited by tumor-dense structure, immune system, and other factors. To solve these problems, macrophages with active tropism to tumor tissues, loaded nanoparticles with photothermal therapy, and chemotherapy were designed.

Single-crystal ultrahigh-nickel LiNiCoMnO (NCM) materials are recognized for significant potential in the development of high-performance lithium-ion batteries, primarily owing to their higher energy density and superior cycling performance compared to polycrystalline counterparts. However, these materials require high calcination temperatures, suffer from significant lithium/nickel mixing, and face challenges in composition control. Although high-activity oxide precursors prepared via spray pyrolysis can reduce calcination temperatures, the smaller particle size of the resulting NCM materials intensifies interfacial side reactions.

Adsorption behaviors are typically examined through adsorption isotherms, which measure the average adsorption amount as a function of partial pressure or time. However, this method is incapable of identifying inhomogeneities across the adsorbent, which may occur in the presence of strong intermolecular interactions of the adsorbate. In this study, we visualize the adsorption of molecular iodine (I) in the metal-organic framework material MFM-300(Sc) using high-resolution scanning transmission electron microscopy (STEM).

The additive hazard model, which focuses on risk differences rather than risk ratios, has been widely applied in practice. In this paper, we consider an additive hazard model with varying coefficients to analyze recurrent events data. The model allows for both varying and constant coefficients.

In this study, the MnFeO@CoS magnetic nanocomposite was prepared by a two-step hydrothermal method and used to catalyze the ozone oxidation degradation of methylene blue. It was characterized by XRD, EDS, SEM, FT-IR, and XPS. The results showed that the introduction of CoS made MnFeO grow uniformly on CoS nanosheets, which effectively prevented the agglomeration of MnFeO.

The concomitant inhibition of PI3Kδ and bromodomain and extra-terminal (BET) that exerts a synergistic effect on the B-cell receptor signaling pathway provides a new strategy for the treatment of aggressive diffuse large B-cell lymphoma (DLBCL). Herein, a merged pharmacophore strategy was utilized to discover a series of thieno[3,2-]pyrimidine derivatives as the first-in-class bifunctional PI3Kδ-BET inhibitors. Through optimization, a highly potent compound () was identified to possess excellent and balanced activities against PI3Kδ [inhibitory concentration (IC) = 112 ± 8 nM] and BRD4-BD1 (IC = 19 ± 1 nM) and exhibited strong antiproliferative activities in DLBCL cells.

Replacing the sluggish anodic water oxidation reaction with the glucose oxidation reaction (GOR) offers an energy-saving strategy to obtain value-added products during the hydrogen production process. However, rational design of the GOR electrocatalyst with an explicit structure-property relationship remains a challenge. In this study, by using cobalt chalcogenides as model catalysts, we performed an in-depth study of the GOR catalytic mechanism of CoS and CoSe nanosheets.

Human papillomavirus (HPV) is a major global health issue and is recognized as the leading cause of cervical cancer. While prophylactic vaccination programs have led to substantial reductions in both HPV infection rates and cervical cancer incidence, considerable burdens of HPV-related diseases persist, particularly in developing countries with inadequate vaccine coverage and uptake. The development of therapeutic vaccines for HPV represents an emerging strategy that has the potential to bolster the fight against cervical cancer.

Biomimetic nanodrug delivery systems based on cell membranes have emerged as a promising approach for targeted cancer therapy due to their biocompatibility and low immunogenicity. Among them, platelet-mediated systems are particularly noteworthy for their innate tumor-homing and cancer cell interaction capabilities. These systems utilize nanoparticles shielded and directed by platelet membrane coatings for efficient drug delivery.

In grid intelligent inspection systems, automatic registration of infrared and visible light images in power scenes is a crucial research technology. Since there are obvious differences in key attributes between visible and infrared images, direct alignment is often difficult to achieve the expected results. To overcome the high difficulty of aligning infrared and visible light images, an image alignment method is proposed in this paper.

In this work, a peroxidase-like (POD-like) nanozyme of Fe/P-NC was synthesized by doping phosphorus (P) and nitrogen (N) to manipulate iron (Fe) activity centers, which showed catalytic activity and kinetics comparable to those of natural HRP. Based on the efficient POD-like activity of the Fe/P-NC nanozyme and cascaded catalytic reactions with acetylcholinesterase (AChE), we constructed a colorimetric, affordable and sensitive sensing platform to detect organophosphorus pesticides (OPs). In the presence of AChE, the POD-like activity of the prepared Fe/P-NC was suppressed, which weakened the Fe/P-NC-catalyzed oxidation of TMB.
