Fas has been shown to positively regulate the differentiation of T helper 17 (Th17) cells in mouse models of experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis (EAE). Fas protein expression is regulated by ubiquitination but has not been further studied. In this study, we investigated the role of the Fas ubiquitin ligase in Th17 cell differentiation and highlighted its potential as a therapeutic target for EAE.

Enhancing AI reliability: A foundation model with uncertainty estimation for optical coherence tomography-based retinal disease diagnosis.

Inability to express the confidence level and detect unseen disease classes limits the clinical implementation of artificial intelligence in the real world. We develop a foundation model with uncertainty estimation (FMUE) to detect 16 retinal conditions on optical coherence tomography (OCT). In the internal test set, FMUE achieves a higher F1 score of 95.

While quantitative methods offer essential clinical insights, qualitative approaches provide a deeper understanding of the emotional, psychological, and social dimensions of mental health. Reflexivity enables researchers to remain aware of how their personal biases and professional backgrounds shape data interpretation.

[Evidence map of clinical studies about treatment of hyperlipidemia with Chinese patent medicines in recent ten years].

Evidence mapping was performed to review the clinical trials and systematic reviews about the treatment of hyperlipidemia with Chinese patent medicines in recent ten years. A total of 387 clinical studies and 18 systematic reviews/Meta-analysis involving 45 Chinese patent medicines commonly used in the treatment of hyperlipidemia in recent ten years were retrieved from Chinese and English academic publication databases. The article information was extracted by reading the abstract and full text, and the evidence of publication trend, combined medication, intervention course, complications, and outcome indicators was sorted out.

[Investigation on tastes, properties, and traditional efficacy of Mongolian medicines of genus Artemisia based on pharmacophylogeny].

The genus Artemisia is one of the most abundant groups of medicinal plants in the Asteraceae family. Based on the theoretical basis of the pharmacophylogeny, the phylogenetic analysis, association analysis and other methods were used to systematically sort out the genetic relationships, properties, tastes, chemical constituents, and traditional efficacy of Mongolian medicines of genus Artemisia(MMA). The correlation and regularity were discussed.

[Analysis of prescription rules for hyperlipidemia comorbid with hypertension based on latent structure model and association rules].

Based on the latent structure model and association rule analysis, the regularity of prescription for hyperlipidemia comorbid with hypertension was explored, and traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) pattern type was speculated to provide a reference for clinical pattern differentiation and treatment, and guideline establishment. The literature on the treatment of hyperlipidemia comorbid with hypertension by TCM was systematically searched on CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, and SinoMed academic platforms. The relevant information was extracted and a database was established using Microsoft Excel 2019.
