Histiocytic necrotizing lymphadenitis (HNL) is a unique form of self-limiting lymphadenitis with an unknown cause. The majority of cases resolve within several months and the disease has a low recurrence rate of 3-4%. In the present study, a prolonged recurrent case of HNL was reported.
