In order to solve the engineering problem of a large amount of wind leakage in the 8106 comprehensive mining working face of the Carboniferous System under the influence of overlapping mining of two coal seams in Yongdingzhuang Mine, Datong Mining Area, this paper utilizes finite element numerical simulation software to study the wind leakage characteristics of the 8106 working face and the distribution range of the spontaneous combustion "three zones" of the mining area. The results show that, under the condition of external air leakage, the internal pressure of the goaf is greater than the external pressure, the upper pressure is greater than the lower pressure, and the seepage direction is from the top down and from the inside out. Under the condition of no external air leakage, the air leakage source is mainly concentrated in the air inlet lane.

The soft-rock roadways in kilometer-deep coal mines are often damaged by large deformation and have to be periodically expanded and repaired, which seriously restricts the safe and efficient production of coal mines. A typical soft-rock roadway in a kilometer-deep coal mine is selected as the engineering, and the main reasons for roadway deformation are analyzed, and the ground stress and mechanical characteristics are obtained. The Flac numerical model, which can accurately reflect the deformation characteristics of surrounding rock in kilometer-deep soft-rock roadway, has been constructed, and the evolution laws of stress field and its damage mechanism have been analyzed with the vertical stress, vertical displacement and plastic zone.

Biocrusts are the primary organic carbon reservoirs in desert areas, in which inorganic clays potentially playing significant roles; however, the specific details of these roles remain largely unclear. This study organically integrates the safety, quality, cost, delivery, and people (SQCDP) management mode and lean management to create the SQCDP + lean safety management (SLSM) mode, which addresses certain problems faced by China's small- and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs), such as imperfect safety management systems, poor regulatory implementation, challenging problem correction, and perfunctory management. It then explains the benefits proposed mode for SMEs and the establishment of a novel mode that aligns with the current safety production and operation management of SMEs. The application of the SLSM mode to a private machinery manufacturing company in Wenzhou resulted in the effective shouldering of safety responsibilities by the company, a year-on-year decrease in accident rates, and a significant increase in production efficiency, thereby providing corporate managers with guidance and suggestions for making improvements.
