To investigate the effect of Buzhong Yiqi Decoction on regulatory T cells(Treg) in experimental rats with autoimmune thyroiditis(EAT) through the transforming growth factor-β(TGF-β)/Smad signaling pathway. Female SD rats were immunized with iodine-rich drinking water combined with Freund's adjuvant and porcine thyroglobulin(pTG) to establish the EAT model of rats, and the levels of serum thyroperoxidase antibody(TPOAb) and thyroglobulin antibody(TGAb) were detected. Pathological sections by hematoxylin-eosin(HE) staining were observed.

In recent years, the incidence and mortality rates of cardiovascular diseases in China have kept rising, with no significant reduction in disease burden observed. Percutaneous coronary intervention(PCI) is an effective approach for treating coronary artery disease. Drug-eluting stents and drug-coated balloons are currently the most common PCI devices used in clinical practice.

This study aims to systematically review the efficacy and safety of Shufeng Jiedu Capsules in the treatment of influenza. The randomized controlled trial(RCT) of Shufeng Jiedu Capsules alone or in combination with conventional western medicine for treating influenza were retrieved from PubMed, EMbase, Cochrane Library, Web of Science, SinoMed, CNKI, VIP, Wanfang, and ClinicalTrails.gov.

[Exploration and example interpretation of real-world herbal prescription classification based on similarity matching algorithm].

In observational studies, herbal prescriptions are usually studied in the form of "similar prescriptions". At present, the classification of prescriptions is mainly based on clinical experience judgment, but there are some problems in manual judgment, such as lack of unified criteria, labor consumption, and difficulty in verification. In the construction of a database of integrated traditional Chinese and western medicine for the treatment of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19), our research group tried to classify real-world herbal prescriptions using a similarity matching algorithm.

[Protection of salidroside on endothelial cell barrier in cerebral ischemia-reperfusion model rats].

This study aims to observe the therapeutic effect of salidroside on cerebral ischemia-reperfusion(I/R) model rats, and to specifically explore the protection of salidroside on endothelial cell barrier after I/R and the mechanism. In the experiment, SD rats were randomized into sham group, model group, and high-, medium-, and low-dose(10, 5, and 2.5 mg·kg~(-1)) salidroside groups.

[Systematic review and Meta-analysis of Lianhua Qingwen preparations combined with Oseltamivir in treatment of influenza].

This study aims to explore the efficacy and safety of Lianhua Qingwen preparations combined with Oseltamivir in the treatment of influenza patients. PubMed, Cochrane Library, EMbase, SinoMed, CNKI, Wanfang, and VIP were searched for the randomized controlled trials(RCTs) involving the comparison between the influenza patients treated with Lianhua Qingwen preparations combined with Oseltamivir and those treated with Oseltamivir alone. Fever clearance time was taken as the primary outcome indicator.

[Toxicokinetics of emodin-8-O-β-D-glucoside in rats in vivo].

This study aims to establish an ultra-performance liquid chromatography-quadrupole time-of-flight mass spectrometry(UPLC-Q-TOF-MS) method for the determination of emodin-8-O-β-D-glucoside(EG) and its metabolites in plasma, and to investigate the toxicokinetics(TK) behavior of them in rats. To be specific, the TK of EG and its metabolites from the first to the last administration in the repeated dose toxicity study was determined, and the kinetic parameters were calculated. The exposure of EG prototype and metabolites in rat plasma after oral administration of different doses of EG was evaluated.

[Mechanism of Ficus hirta-Hypericum perforatum in treatment of microvascular angina based on network pharmacology and molecular docking].

The active ingredients of Ficus hirta and Hypericum perforatum were collected from Traditional Chinese Medicine Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP) and related papers. The potential targets of these two medicinal herbs were searched from HERB database, and those associated with microvascular angina were screened out from GeneCards, Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM), Therapeutic Target Database(TTD), and HERB. Cytoscape was used to construct a protein-protein interaction(PPI) network of the common targets shared by the two herbs and microvascular angina based on the data of String platform.

[Effect of "Hedyotis Diffusae Herba-Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma" in treatment of lung adenocarcinoma based on network pharmacology].

To explore the mechanism of Hedyotis Diffusae Herba-Smilacis Glabrae Rhizoma(HDH-SGR) in treating lung adenocarcinoma based on big data bioinformatics combined with network pharmacology analysis and molecular docking technology. The chemical components and potential therapeutic targets of HDH-SGR were obtained from Traditional Chinese Medicine Systems Pharmacology Database and Analysis Platform(TCMSP). Lung adenocarcinoma-related genes were obtained from The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA), Therapeutic Target Database(TTD), Pharmacogenetics and Pharmacogenomics Knowledge Base(PharmGKB), Online Mendelian Inheritance in Man(OMIM), DrugBank, and GeneCards.

[Effects of Buyang Huanwu Decoction on neurovascular units after cerebral ischemia: a review].

Buyang Huanwu Decoction, a representative prescription in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) for tonifying Qi and activating blood, has been proved to be effective in preventing and treating acute cerebral infarction(ACI). It consists of Astragali Radix, Angelicae Sinensis Radix, Paeoniae Radix Rubra, Pheretima, Chuanxiong Rhizoma, Carthami Flos, and Persicae Semen, possessing multiple active ingredients. The neurovascular unit is a functionally and structurally interdependent multicellular complex composed of neurons-glial cells-blood vessels.

[Study on difference of effect of Huoxue drugs and Yiqi Huoxue drugs on tumor metastasis based on immune remodeling].

Tumor metastasis is an important cause of tumor treatment failure. Its molecular mechanism is closely related to tumor cells remodeling immune cells and immunosuppressive microenvironment, so as to create a suitable soil for tumor cell invasion and growth. "Huoxue Huayu" is one of the important therapeutic principles in cancer treatment, but the influence of Huoxue drugs on tumor metastasis has been controversial in clinical application.

Traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) is an important feature of cancer treatment in China. The methods to tap the advantages of TCM, reasonably evaluate and accurately apply Chinese patent medicines have become current research hotspots and difficulties. TCM takes syndrome differentiation and treatment as the core, with the characteristics of overall regulation and multi-targets efficacy.

[Correlation between estrogen levels and coronary heart disease with kidney deficiency and intervention effect of kidney-tonifying traditional Chinese medicine].

With the process of urbanization and population aging in China, the burden of cardiovascular disease and the incidence of coronary heart disease among postmenopausal women have greatly increased. Studies have found that the incidence of coronary heart disease in postmenopausal women is closely related to the level of estrogen, but there are still difficulties of low efficiency and large side effects in current therapies. Kidney deficiency has a strong correlation with reproductive development and overall function.

[Thinking and practice of key links in design of clinical trial scheme for treatment of influenza with traditional Chinese medicine].

To sort out the key points in "PICOS" design of clinical trial scheme for influenza, and optimize the clinical trial scheme of Chinese patent medicine in the treatment of influenza by strictly following the principle of evidence-based medicine, focusing on the clinical practice of the disease, and highlighting the characteristics of traditional Chinese medicine. "The design of a randomized, double-blind, positive parallel control study of a certain herbal preparation for the treatment of non-severe influenza" was taken as an example in this study, and the key points in the clinical trial design of Chinese patent medicine for the treatment of influenza were specifically discussed from six aspects, including the type of study, object of study, intervention measures, control measures, outcome indicators and frequently asked questions in test design. From methodological suggestions, in the design scheme of clinical trial on efficacy and safety of Chinese patent medicine in the treatment of influenza, the randomized controlled study should be the first choice for type of study; the inclusion criteria should define both the diagnostic criteria of Western medicine and the syndromes of traditional Chinese medicine(TCM); the exclusion criteria should include a comprehensive list of confounding factors and special circumstances lea-ding to bias in the study results; the interventions should be based on a well-defined dosing programme; internationally recognized positive drugs or guidelines should be used as control measures, with median antipyretic time as the main outcome indicator.

[Systematic review and Meta-analysis of safety of Sanfu acupoint herbal patching in randomized controlled trial].

In order to systematically evaluate the safety of Sanfu acupoint herbal patching, CNKI, SinoMed, VIP, Wanfang, PubMed, Medline, EMbase, and Cochrane Library were searched in accordance with PICOS principles, with a time limit from database establishment to December 2019. Meta-analysis was used for a single-group rate analysis and a weighted combination of these two groups on rates of adverse reactions. A total of 9 articles meeting the inclusion criteria were included in the analysis, involving 2 119 patients.

The analysis and utilization of clinical scientific research data is an effective means to promote the progress of diagnosis and treatment, and a key step in the development of medical sciences. During the epidemic of coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19), how to transform the limited diagnostic data into clinical research resources has attracted much attention. Based on the low efficiency of data collection and extraction, the inconsistency of data analysis, the irregularity of data report and the high timeliness of data update during the epidemic, this paper briefly analyzed the background and reasons of data application under the current situation, and then discusses the problems and feasible solutions of clinical data applications under the epidemic situation and, more importantly, for future medical clinical research methods.

[Effect of traditional Chinese medicine in attenuating coronary heart disease and main risk factors by regulating gut micro-biota].

Ischemic heart disease has became the world's most common deadly disease, and coronary heart disease(CHD) is the most common type of ischemic heart disease. The pathological mechanism of CHD has not been fully elucidated. In recent years, scientific studies have found that gut micro-biota are closely related to the occurrence and development of CHD, and CHD could be intervened by regulating gut micro-biota because of the correlation between CHD and intermediate metabolite of gut micro-biota.

The theory of " treating same syndrome with different methods" has been widely used in traditional Chinese medicine( TCM). It originated from Treatise on Febrile and Miscellaneous Diseases,and had objective formation factors. The " syndrome" in TCM was a comprehensive manifestation of etiology,characteristics,disease location and trend of disease.

[Babaodan Capsules for viral hepatitis: systematic review of clinical efficacy and safety and Meta-analysis of randomized clinical trials].

To systemically analyze the efficacy and safety of Babaodan Capsules in treatment of viral hepatitis. Databases such as CNKI,Wan Fang Date,VIP,Sino Med,PubMed,and Cochrane Library were electronically searched for relevant randomized controlled trials about Babaodan Capsules in the treatment of viral hepatitis,from database establishment to November 11,2018. Two researchers independently screened the literature and extracted data according to the inclusion criteria.
