Objective: This meta-analysis evaluates the comparative efficacy of lateral unicompartmental arthroplasty (UKA) versus medial UKA in treating unicompartmental knee osteoarthritis (KOA).

Methods: We systematically searched Cochrane, PubMed, Embase, and Web of Science databases from January 2000 to September 2024. Literature screening, quality assessment, and data extraction were conducted based on predefined inclusion and exclusion criteria.

Clinicopathological and prognostic factor analyses of primary fallopian tube carcinoma and high-grade serous ovarian cancer: a single-institution retrospective study.

Objective: This study aimed to evaluate and compare the clinicopathologic features of primary fallopian tubal carcinoma (PFTC) and high-grade serous ovarian cancer (HGSOC) and explore the prognostic factors of these two malignant tumors.

Methods: Fifty-seven patients diagnosed with PFTC from 2006 to 2015 and 60 patients diagnosed with HGSOC from 2014 to 2015 with complete prognostic information were identified at Women's Hospital of Zhejiang University. The clinicopathological and surgical data were collected, and the survival of the patients was followed for 5 years after surgery.

Methods: The nine nodes of chronic ego depletion aftereffects and integrated self-control training were taken as nodes in the network and analyzed using NIA. Networks were computed at the baseline, at the end of treatment, at 1-, 3-, 6-, 9- and 12-month follow up.

We compared the operation time, postoperative hospitalization time, VAS score, Lysholm knee function score, postoperative complications, and postoperative images of the patients in these two groups.

Purpose: This scoping review aims to summarize online health information seeking (OHIS) behavior among breast cancer patients and survivors, identify research gaps, and offer insights for future studies.

Methods: Following Arksey and O'Malley's framework, we conducted a review across PubMed, Web of Science, CINAHL, MEDLINE, Cochrane, Embase, CNKI, Wanfang Data, and SinoMed, covering literature from 1 January 2014 to 13 August 2023. A total of 1,368 articles were identified, with 33 meeting the inclusion criteria.

Efficacy of small-diameter core decompression with platelet-rich plasma in early osteonecrosis of the femoral head: a retrospective study.

Clinical benefits of central pancreatectomy for a patient with pancreatic schwannoma and diabetes.

Schwannomas are tumors that originate from the glial cells of the nervous system and can occur on myelinated nerve fibers throughout the body, especially in the craniofacial region. However, pancreatic schwannomas are extremely rare. We report a case of a pancreatic schwannoma that was difficult to differentiate from other pancreatic tumors preoperatively.

In this study, we investigated the role of eRNAs in kidney renal clear cell carcinoma (KIRC), the most common subtype of renal cell carcinoma. Leveraging high-throughput sequencing data and bioinformatics analysis, we identified differentially expressed eRNAs in KIRC and constructed eRNA-centric regulatory networks.

Background: To assess the effectiveness of tumor biomarkers in distinguishing epithelial ovarian tumors (EOTs) and guiding clinical decisions across each Ovarian-Adnexal Reporting and Data System (O-RADS) MRI risk category, the aim is to prevent unnecessary surgeries for benign lesions, avoid delays in treating malignancies, and benefit individuals requiring fertility preservation or those intolerant to over-extensive surgery.

Methods: A total of 54 benign, 104 borderline, and 203 malignant EOTs (BeEOTs, BEOTs and MEOTs) were enrolled and retrospectively assigned risk scores. The role of tumor biomarkers in diagnosing and managing EOTs within each risk category was evaluated by combining receiver operating characteristic (ROC) curves with clinicopathological characteristics.

Evaluation of an enhanced ResNet-18 classification model for rapid On-site diagnosis in respiratory cytology.

Objective: Rapid on-site evaluation (ROSE) of respiratory cytology specimens is a critical technique for accurate and timely diagnosis of lung cancer. However, in China, limited familiarity with the Diff-Quik staining method and a shortage of trained cytopathologists hamper utilization of ROSE. Therefore, developing an improved deep learning model to assist clinicians in promptly and accurately evaluating Diff-Quik stained cytology samples during ROSE has important clinical value.
