How does swine insurance affect the swine production efficiency in China? We focus on micro-survey data from 582 swine farmers in Liaoning Province, and uses the propensity score matching method (PSM) and mediated effects model for the empirical examination. The results indicate that swine insurance positively impacts production efficiency, compared to uninsured farmers, those who participate in swine insurance exhibit a 4.7% improvement in production efficiency.

In China, for community social workers, work-family conflict has become a common phenomenon that may harm their well-being. Based on the analysis of a survey of community social workers in four cities in China, this study demonstrated that community workers' work-family conflict significantly affects burnout, role overload mediates the relation between work-family conflict and burnout, and cognitive crafting negatively moderates the relation between role overload and burnout. The conclusions validate the job crafting theory and enrich the research on job burnout under the JD-R model.

Analysis and prediction of addiction among virtual reality users.

Objective: To understand the addiction situation and influencing factors of virtual reality users, and provide reference basis for timely and effective prevention and intervention of user addiction.

Methods: Based on a questionnaire survey, univariate analysis, multivariate analysis, and model prediction were conducted on the data of 1164 participants in VR related Facebook groups and Reddit subedits.

Results: The single factor analysis results show that the user's own attributes, usage duration, perception level, and application types of virtual reality devices can significantly affect the degree of addiction; The results of multivariate analysis showed that the age of users, the number of days used per week, the number of hours used per day, and the perceived level of the device can significantly affect the probability of addiction.

However, the academic community is in agreement that, for oil that is also fluid, the adhesion characteristic curve under oil conditions exhibits a single peak, making adhesion improvement through wheel-rail sliding impossible. To investigate whether a similar adhesion improvement phenomenon exists under high-viscosity oil medium conditions as observed under water condition, this study conducted wheel-rail adhesion tests on oil-contaminated interfaces within a slip ratio up to 80%.

Organoselenium compounds and quinolines are widely used in drugs and materials. Herein, we report an electro-oxidative cyclization between isocyanides and diselenides to effectively synthesize 2-organoselenyl quinolines in a simple undivided cell without transition-metal catalysts or toxic oxidants. High-performance radiation-resistant lubricating materials (RRLMs) with nanostructures hold great promise for enhancing the irradiation tolerance because of their sinking effect of boundaries on defects. Despite recent advances, challenges remain in finding a nanostructure that exhibits both superior irradiation tolerance and excellent lubricant properties. Unlike traditional nanostructured composite materials that required complex predesign, herein, a MoS nanocrystals (NCs)/amorphous dual phase in subirradiation saturation (SIS) state was spontaneously formed during irradiation, exhibiting high irradiation resistance under the synergistic effect of "defect traps" by interfaces and edge dislocation.

The exact expressions of the three-dimension acoustic radiation torque (ART) of a viscoelastic sphere arbitrarily positioned in a zero-order Mathieu beam (zMB) are derived in this paper. The effects of the ellipticity parameters, half-cone angles, dimensionless frequency, and particle position on the acoustic radiation torques of the spherical particle are studied. Simulation results show the axial ART is zero for an arbitrarily positioned viscoelastic PE sphere in a zMB, while for the x or y axis ART, it varies significantly with the particle position and beam parameters.

The transportation and transformation of biogenic isoprene are vital for the organic carbon cycle in the troposphere. As a typical mineral with high oxidation potential, Fe-substituted cryptomelane oxidizes the surface monolayer of isoprene into formic and acetic acids, and simultaneously, the Mn ions in the structure are reduced to Mn and Mn. The flow of HO in isoprene decreases the adsorption and oxidation of isoprene significantly, even at low relative humidity (10%).

Raman spectroscopy has demonstrated significant potential in molecular detection, analysis, and identification, particularly when it adopts single-molecule surface-enhanced Raman scattering (SM-SERS) substrates. A recent SM-SERS scheme incorporates two-fold Raman enhancement mechanisms: the electromagnetic enhancement enabled by a plasmonic nanogap hotspot formed from gold sphere nanoparticles sitting on a gold mirror and the chemical enhancement enabled by a two-dimensional material, WS, inserted into the nanogap. In this work we integrate multiple advanced concepts and techniques to achieve remarkable performance improvements of SM-SERS.

The phosphorylation of residue T177 produces a significant effect on the conformational dynamics of CDK6. Gaussian accelerated molecular dynamics (GaMD) simulations followed by deep learning (DL) are applied to explore the molecular mechanism of the phosphorylation-mediated effect on the conformational dynamics of CDK6 bound by three inhibitors 6ZV, 6ZZ and 0RS, in which 6ZV and 6ZZ have been used to test clinical performance. The DL finds that the β-sheets, αC helix as well as the T-loop are involved in obvious differences of conformation contacts and suggests that the T-loop plays a key role in the function of CDK6.
