Solar photovoltaic (PV) is critical for achieving the 2030 global target of tripling renewable power capacity. Over the past two decades, the global supply chain has significantly reduced the cost of solar PV products enabling widespread adoption. However, many countries are now implementing decoupling measures to enhance supply chain security and boost local economies.

Achieving lightweight real-time object detection necessitates balancing model compression with detection accuracy, a difficulty exacerbated by low redundancy and uneven contributions from convolutional layers. As an alternative to traditional methods, we propose Rigorous Gradation Pruning (RGP), which uses a desensitized first-order Taylor approximation to assess filter importance, enabling precise pruning of redundant kernels. This approach includes the iterative reassessment of layer significance to protect essential layers, ensuring effective detection performance.

The diversion tunnel is frequently subjected to cyclic dynamic loads during blasting and mechanical excavation. To explore the theory and mechanism of cyclic dynamic mechanical damage for granite in a diversion tunnel under cyclic loading-unloading, the incremental cyclic loading-unloading test and numerical simulation were conducted on granite samples from the diversion tunnel. According to the mechanical and deformation characteristics of rock samples in the process of cyclic loading-unloading, the stress-strain normalization theory evolution model based on viscoelastoplasticity was established, and the cyclic dynamic damage evolution mechanism of rock samples was revealed.

Over the past decades, researchers have continuously investigated the potential functions of long-chain polyunsaturated fatty acids (LCPUFAs) in cancers, including lung cancer. The ω-3 LCPUFAs, primarily consisting of eicosapentaenoic acid and docosahexaenoic acid, were found to modify inflammatory tumor microenvironment, induce cancer cell apoptosis and autophagy, and suppress tumor development when administered alone or with other therapeutical strategies. Although the precise anti-tumor mechanism has not been elucidated yet, ω-3 LCPUFAs are often used in the nutritional treatment of patients with cancer due to their ability to significantly improve patient's nutritional status, increase the sensitivity of tumor cells to treatments, and alleviate cancer-related complications.

In the emerging energy-sharing market, prosumers enhance resource allocation and promote low-carbon transitions through energy trade. Implicit carbon transfers in energy sharing necessitate scientific carbon responsibility allocation to guide prosumers' decisions in integrated electricity, heat, and carbon markets. To coordinate growing multi-prosumers, and stimulate multi-energy sharing and equitable carbon responsibility allocation, an innovative framework for joint multi-energy and carbon responsibility sharing is designed to enhance local energy transaction, carbon emission management, and mutual benefits under the guiding principles of individual rationality, low-carbon orientation, transparency, and scalability.

MT+ is pivotal in the dorsal visual stream, encoding tool-use characteristics such as motion speed and direction. Despite its conservation between humans and monkeys, differences in MT+ spatial location and organization may lead to divergent, yet unexplored, connectivity patterns and functional characteristics. Using diffusion tensor imaging, we examined the structural connectivity of MT+ subregions in macaques and humans.

Tripartite motif-containing 47 (TRIM47) is a member of the TRIM family, which has E3 ligase activity and has been demonstrated to be involved in tumor development. In this work, we found that TRIM47 is highly expressed in head and neck squamous cell carcinomas (HNSCC) tissues. TRIM47 overexpression promoted HNSCC cell proliferation.

Diabetic vascular aging is driven by macrophage senescence, which propagates senescence-associated secretory phenotypes (SASP), exacerbating vascular dysfunction. This study utilized a type 2 diabetes mellitus (T2DM) mouse model induced by streptozotocin injection and a high-fat diet to investigate the role of STING in macrophage senescence. Vascular aging markers and senescent macrophages were assessed , while , high glucose treatment induced macrophage senescence, enhancing senescence in co-cultured vascular smooth muscle cells.

Cdc25C undergoes a sudden and substantial gel mobility shift at M-phase onset, correlating with abrupt activation of both Cdc25C and Cdk1 activities. A positive feedback loop between Cdk1 and Cdc25C has been used to explain this hallmark phenomenon. Here, we demonstrate that the M-phase supershift and robust activation of Cdc25C are due to the site-comprehensive phosphorylation of its long intrinsically disordered regulatory domain without requiring Cdk1 or other major mitotic kinase activities.

Periodontitis is a chronic inflammatory condition driven by plaque-associated microorganisms, where uncontrolled bacterial invasion and proliferation impair host immune responses, leading to localized periodontal tissue inflammation and bone destruction. Conventional periodontal therapies face challenges, including incomplete microbial clearance and the rise of antibiotic resistance, limiting their precision and effectiveness in managing periodontitis. Recently, nanotherapies based on polymeric materials have introduced advanced approaches to periodontal antimicrobial therapy through diverse antimicrobial mechanisms.
