This paper focuses on the issue of ED resource allocation and designs a priority sorting system for ED patients. The system classifies patients into two queues: urgent and routine.

Cumulative damage characteristics of tunnel initial support concrete under blasting load.

Relying on the Beijing-Zhangjiakou high-speed railway Cao Mao Shan tunnel project, blasting vibration monitoring and sound wave testing experiments were carried out. The monitoring results show that the blasting vibration velocity corresponding to the initial support satisfies the Sadowski formula. The results of the sonic test show that with the increase of blasting times, the cumulative damage increases gradually, but the blasting damage increment shows a downward trend.

Previous estimates of deep soil inorganic nitrogen (N) reservoirs have been mainly limited to desert soils, however, recent evidence suggests that deep soil pools are far more ubiquitous across biomes and therefore may be important for global N budgets. Here, we used observations from 280 deep soil profiles (2-205 m) across a wide array of ecosystem and land cover types to seek insight into the full geospatial variation of deep soil nitrate. Using a random forest machine learning approach we estimate a total deep soil nitrate pool of 15.

Optical semantic communication through multimode fiber: from symbol transmission to sentiment analysis.

We propose and validate a novel optical semantic transmission scheme using multimode fiber (MMF). By leveraging the frequency sensitivity of intermodal dispersion in MMFs, we achieve high-dimensional semantic encoding and decoding in the frequency domain. Our system maps symbols to 128 distinct frequencies spaced at 600 kHz intervals, demonstrating a seven-fold increase in capacity compared to conventional communication encoding.

3D numerical modeling of the deformation and failure mechanisms of batter pile groups subjected to fault ruptures.

Fault ruptures induced by earthquakes pose a significant threat to constructions, particularly underground structures such as pile foundations. Among various foundation types, batter pile foundations are widely used due to their ability to resist inclined forces. To gain new insights into the response of batter pile groups to fault ruptures caused by earthquakes, this study investigates the deformation and failure mechanisms of batter pile groups due to the propagation of normal and reverse fault ruptures using 3D numerical modeling.

Multicooperation of Turtle-inspired amphibious spherical robots.

It is challenging to achieve high-speed and accurate multicooperation of turtle-inspired amphibious spherical robots (ASRs) in turbid water and confined spaces when the robots are underwater movement with multiple degrees of freedom (MDOF). This paper innovatively proposes a control strategy for modelling and experimental platforms that can communicate and cooperate between multiple robots. First, a novel underwater kinematic model using the unit quaternion (UQ) algorithm is proposed based on attitude interpolation to realize MDOF movement.

Gene expression profiles from GSE138518 and GSE155489, and single-cell RNA sequencing (scRNA-seq) data from PRJNA600740 were collected and subjected to bioinformatics analysis to identify the complex molecular mechanisms of PCOS.
