Identification of lesion demarcation during thoracoscopic anatomical lesion resection is fundamental for treating children with congenital lung malformation. Existing lesion demarcations do not always meet the needs of clinical practice. This study aimed to explore the safety and efficacy of near-infrared fluorescence imaging with nebulized inhalation of indocyanine green for thoracoscopic anatomical lesion resection in children with congenital lung malformation.

Exploring the therapeutic potential of PACAP in Hunner-type Interstitial Cystitis.

Purpose: This study aims to elucidate the role of pituitary adenylate cyclase-activating polypeptide (PACAP) in Hunner-type Interstitial Cystitis (HIC) and evaluate its potential as a therapeutic target.

Methods: Bladder tissue samples were obtained from HIC patients and normal bladder tissue from bladder cancer patients. PACAP expression was assessed through immunohistochemistry.

We used two-sample bidirectional Mendelian randomization (MR) to analyze the causal association between BPV, depression, and antidepressants.

Influence of elevation angle of tundish filter on removal rate of impurity in molten steel.

To investigate the effect of the filter device on the cleanliness of molten steel and the flow field distribution within the tundish. The tundish filters were designed into five groups of pores with 20°, 25°, 30°, 35° and 40° elevation angles, and the flow field distribution and impurity removal rate of molten steel were calculated by Discrete Phase Model (DPM). The results showed that the removal rate of impurity in the molten steel could be significantly improved by using the tundish filter with elevation angle.

Integrating ecological and recreational functions to optimize ecological security pattern in Fuzhou City.

The scientific establishment of the Ecological Security Pattern (ESP) is crucial for fostering the synergistic development of ecological and recreational functions, thereby enhancing urban ecological protection, recreational development, and sustainable growth. This study aimed to propose a novel method of constructing ESP considering both ecological and recreational functions, and to reconstruct ESP by weighing the relationship between ecological protection and recreational development. Utilizing Fuzhou City as a case study, a comprehensive application of methodologies including Morphological Spatial Pattern Analysis (MSPA), landscape connectivity analysis, ArcGIS spatial analysis, social network analysis (SNA), and circuit theory is employed to develop both the ESP and the Recreational Spatial Pattern (RSP).

This study aimed to identify the correlation of serum 25(OH)D level with sarcopenia and its components in Chinese elderly aged 65 years and above from rural areas. A total of 368 Chinese elderly aged 65 years and above in rural areas were enrolled. Indicators of muscle mass and strength, including the appendicular skeletal muscle mass (ASM), skeletal muscle index (SMI) and hand grip strength (HGS) were measured.

Bioinspired thermally conducting packaging for heat management of high performance electronic chips.

Conventional electronic chip packaging generates a huge thermal resistance due to the low thermal conductivity of the packaging materials that separate chip dies and coolant. Here we propose and fabricate a closed high-conducting heat chip package based on passive phase change, using silicon carbide which is physically and structurally compatible with chip die materials. Our "chip on vapor chamber" (CoVC) concept realizes rapid diffusion of hot spots, and eliminates the high energy consumption of refrigeration ordinarily required for heat management.

To develop an atrophic Meibomian Gland Dysfunction (MGD) animal model via liquid nitrogen cryotherapy, the eyelid edges of C57 mice exposure to liquid nitrogen for 30 s. Morphology of MG and ocular surface were assessed using stereomicroscopy and a slit lamp microscope at multiple time points post-injury. Acinar loss and atrophy were observed from day 7, with increased inflammation and apoptosis, and decreased proliferation in acinar cells.

The research aims to investigate the mechanical response of footfalls at different velocities to understand the mechanism of heel injury and provide a scientific basis for the prevention and treatment of heel fractures. A three-dimensional solid model of foot drop was constructed using anatomical structures segmented from medical CT scans, including bone, cartilage, ligaments, plantar fascia, and soft tissues, and the impact velocities of the foot were set to be 2 m/s, 4 m/s, 6 m/s, 8 m/s, and 10 m/s. To observe the chemical mechanical polishing (CMP) process at the atomic scale, reactive force field molecular dynamics (ReaxFF-MD) was employed to simulate the polishing of 6 H-SiC under three conditions: dry, pure water, and HO solution. This study examined the reactants on the surface of 6 H-SiC during the reaction in the HO solution, along with the dissociation and adsorption processes of HO and water molecules. The mechanisms for atom removal during the CMP process were elucidated.

This study aims to evaluate the efficiency and energy release characteristics of different types of coal in pulse detonation engines (PDE) to advance the development of deep coal fluidization detonation technology, achieving more efficient and cleaner coal utilization. Using a custom PDE setup, experiments were conducted with four coal types at mass flow rates from 30 to 120 g/s. High-frequency pressure sensors assessed pressure dynamics and detonation wave propagation, complemented by numerical simulations for accuracy.
