Mammalian sexual reproduction critically relies on the generation of haploid gametes following a specialized cell division process known as meiosis. Here, we demonstrate that N-6 Adenine-Specific DNA methyltransferase 1 (N6AMT1) plays a crucial role in the progression of meiosis during spermatogenesis, as follows. N6AMT1 was expressed in germ cells throughout the entire process of spermatogenesis, with a peak in mRNA levels in spermatocytes at the prophase I stage of meiosis.

Introduction: Immunotherapy has rapidly become a primary treatment option for many lung cancer patients because of its success in treating this prevalent and deadly disease. However, the success of immunotherapy relies on overcoming the immunosuppressive tumour microenvironment, making remodelling this environment a potential strategy for lung cancer therapy. Research suggests that Toll-like receptor (TLR) agonists can impede tumour growth by promoting the conversion of tumour-associated macrophages into an M1-like state or enhancing dendritic cell development.

The abnormal tumor mechanical microenvironment due to specific cancer-associated fibroblasts (CAFs) subset and low tumor immunogenicity caused by inefficient conversion of active chemotherapeutic agents are two key obstacles that impede patients with desmoplastic tumors from achieving stable and complete immune responses. Herein, it is demonstrated that FAP-αCAFs-induced stromal stiffness accelerated tumor progression by precluding cytotoxic T lymphocytes. Subsequently, a cascade-responsive nanoprodrug capable of re-educating FAP-αCAFs and amplifying tumor immunogenicity for potentiated cancer mechanoimmunotherapy is ingeniously designed.

Electromagnetic materials with adjustable dielectric and magnetic properties are constantly sought after in electronic and industrial fields. In this study, an innovative strategy that customizes anchored Co-based nanoparticles to optimize the electronic behaviors is proposed for the first time, enabling a controllable and high-efficiency evolution of the macroscopic electromagnetic response of Co-based (C/CoT) nanoplates across the X-ray, light in the solar band and gigahertz band. Specifically, in the gigahertz band, the C/Co and C/CoSe nanoplates with high-power loss capabilities can effectively attenuate and convert electromagnetic energy into heat energy, which not only prevents space electromagnetic radiation but also powers energy for various electromagnetic devices such as thermoelectric generators and microwave actuators.

The utilization of plant-derived exosome-like nanovesicles (ELNs) as nanocarriers for oral delivery of bioactives has garnered significant attention. However, their distinctive lipid membrane composition may result in elevated membrane permeability within the gastrointestinal environment, leading to the leakage of carried bioactives. Inspired by the concept of projectile design, Tartary buckwheat-derived ELNs (TB-ELNs) based dual-carriers are fabricated by loading chlorogenic acid (CGA) into the cores and bonding selenium nanoparticles (SeNPs) to the lipid membrane.

The crystalline CoP@ amorphous WP core-shell nanowire arrays are oriented grown on the Ni foam (CoP@WP/NF). The amorphous WP shell provides more active sites, and the interface charge coupling accelerates the kinetic of the catalytic reaction, making the CoP@WP/NF catalysts excellent activity. In acidic, only 13 and 97 mV overpotentials are needed to reach 10 mA cm and 100 mA cm, respectively, which are the lowest overpotentials among all reported Transition metal phosphide (TMP) catalysts, of course, much lower than that of the Pt/C catalyst (31 mV at 10 mA cm, 120 mV at 100 mA cm).

AlGaN-based ultraviolet (UV) light-emitting diodes (LEDs) experience a notable reduction in efficiency within the 280-330 nm wavelength range, known as the "UVB gap". Given the extensive applications of UV LEDs in this wavelength range, it is imperative to bridge this efficiency gap. In this study, a strategy facilitated by the presence of residual Al adatoms is introduced to simultaneously improve the integration of Ga-adatoms and the migration of Al/Ga-adatoms during the growth of low-Al-composition AlGaN quantum wells (QWs) even at high temperatures comparable to those used for high-Al-composition AlGaN quantum barriers.
