Gut microbiota, which act as a determinant of pharmacokinetics, have long been overlooked. In recent years, a growing body of evidence indicates that the gut microbiota influence drug metabolism and efficacy. Conversely, drugs also exert a substantial influence on the function and composition of the gut microbiota.

Purpose: The primary purpose of the study was to explore the impact of health workers' awareness of artificial intelligence (AI) on their workplace well-being, addressing a critical gap in the literature. By examining this relationship through the lens of the Job demands-resources (JD-R) model, the study aimed to provide insights into how health workers' perceptions of AI integration in their jobs and careers could influence their informal learning behaviour and, consequently, their overall well-being in the workplace. The study's findings could inform strategies for supporting healthcare workers during technological transformations.

KRAS is the most frequently mutated driver oncogene in human cancer, and KRAS mutation is commonly found in non-small-cell lung cancer (NSCLC), colorectal cancer (CRC), and pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma (PDAC). Inhibitors that covalently modify the mutated codon 12 cysteine have completed proof-of-concept studies in the clinic. Here, we describe structure-based design and cocrystal-aided drug optimization of a series of compounds with the 1,8-naphthyridine-3-carbonitrile scaffold.

Rationally manipulating the in-situ formed catalytically active surface of catalysts remains a significant challenge for achieving highly efficient water electrolysis. Herein, we present a bias-induced activation strategy to modulate in-situ Ga leaching and trigger the dynamic surface restructuring of lamellar Ir@Ga2O3 for the electrochemical oxygen evolution reaction. The in-situ reconstructed Ga-O-Ir interface sustains high water oxidation rates at OER overpotentials.

Traditionally, α-olefins have been regarded as non-homopolymerizable substrates in textbook examples. However, they have the ability to copolymerize with sulfur dioxide, leading to the creation of alternating copolymers. These commodity poly(olefin sulfone)s exhibite a wide array of applications.

The cyclic GMP-AMP synthase (cGAS)-stimulator of the interferon genes (STING) pathway plays a key role in triggering interferon and inflammatory responses against microbial invasion or tumor. However, aberrant activation of the cGAS-STING pathway is associated with a variety of inflammatory and autoimmune diseases, and thus inhibition of STING is regarded as a potential new approach to treating these diseases. Herein, we report a series of novel indolyl-urea derivatives as STING inhibitors.

Neuronal activity, including sensory-evoked and spontaneous firing, regulates the expression of a subset of genes known as activity-dependent genes. A key issue in this process is the activation and accumulation of transcription factors (TFs), which bind to cis-elements at specific enhancers and promoters, ultimately driving RNA synthesis through transcription machinery. Epigenetic factors such as histone modifiers also play a crucial role in facilitating the specific binding of TFs.

Plant cryptochromes (CRYs) are photolyase-like blue-light receptors that contain a flavin adenine dinucleotide (FAD) chromophore. In plants grown in darkness, CRYs are present as monomers. Photoexcited CRYs oligomerize to form homo-tetramers.

Introduction And Aim: The assessment of gingival inflammation surface features mainly depends on subjective judgment and lacks quantifiable and reproducible indicators. Therefore, it is a need to acquire objective identification information for accurate monitoring and diagnosis of gingival inflammation. This study aims to develop an automated method combining intraoral scanning (IOS) and deep learning algorithms to identify the surface features of gingival inflammation and evaluate its accuracy and correlation with clinical indicators.

Objective: To analyze the impact of tyrosine kinase inhibitor (TKI) maintenance therapy following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) in patients with Philadelphia chromosome-positive acute lymphoblastic leukemia (Ph + ALL) on recurrence rates and prognosis for the 2 transcripts, p190 and p210.
Methods: We conducted a retrospective analysis of clinical data from 58 patients diagnosed with Ph + ALL who underwent HSCT. All patients received TKI maintenance therapy following hematopoietic reconstruction post-transplantation.

This study endeavors to develop a predefined-time adaptive neural network decentralized controller for large-scale interconnected nonlinear systems with input hysteresis. Within the framework of the backstepping technique, the proposed control scheme guarantees that the tracking error converges to a small bounded set within a predefined settling time. The upper limit of this convergence time is determined by a single adjustable control parameter.

For the electrohydraulic composite braking system, the general total braking force calculation strategy frequently ignores the resist forces, thereby cannot track the braking intention of driver perfectly. Moreover, the torque allocation process reduces the control reliability and energy recovery effect. In this research, a novel hierarchical braking accurate control (HBAC) algorithm is designed to achieve both the control accuracy and the ideal energy recovery efficiency.

The ecology of watersheds plays an important role in regulating regional climate and human activities. The sediment-soil system in the middle and lower reaches of the Yellow River Basin (Henan section) was explored. The spatial distribution characteristics of heavy metals (HMs) showed that tributaries, which are affected by anthropogenic activities, contain higher concentrations of HMs than the main channel.
