The utilization of carbide slag, an industrial by-product, as a resource to prepare value-added products has a profound impact not only for sustainable synthesis and the circular economy but also for CO reduction. Herein, we report the very first example of the controlled multi-dimensional assembly of calcium carbonate particles at the micrometer scale with industrial by-product carbide slag and CO. Calcium carbonate particles of distinctly different sizes, shapes, and morphologies are obtained by finely tuning the assembly conditions.

The disordered assembly and low conductivity of carbon nanotubes are the main problems that limit the application of electromagnetic interference (EMI) shielding. In this work, an ordered lamellar assembly structure of multiwalled carbon nanotube/TiCT (MWCNT/TiCT) hybrid films was achieved by vacuum-assisted filtration through the hybridization of TiCT nanosheets and carbon nanotubes, where carbon nanotubes were tightly sticking on the surface of TiCT nanosheets via physical adsorption and hydrogen bonding. Compared with the pure carbon nanotubes films, the hybrid MWCNT/TiCT films achieved a significant improvement in conductivity of 452.

Its overexpression has been implicated in various malignancies, such as lung adenocarcinoma, gastric cancer, pancreatic cancer, liver cancer, and ovarian cancer, where it correlates strongly with disease progression. Here, we develop an innovative inhalable small interfering RNA (siRNA) delivery system termed PEI-GBZA, which demonstrates impressive efficiency in loading siIL-11 targeting IL-11 (siIL-11) and substantially suppresses the differentiation of fibroblasts into myofibroblasts and epithelial-mesenchymal transition (EMT), reduces neutrophil and macrophage recruitment, and ultimately relieves the established fibrotic lesions in the IPF model. Iron hexacyanoferrate (FeHCF) is considered a desirable Prussian blue-type cathode, but the incomplete electrochemical property of its low-spin iron sites hinders its further practical application. In this paper, carboxymethyl cellulose is demonstrated to have an appropriate binding energy through DFT calculations, synthesize Prussian blue in situ, balance Fe and water in FeHCF, and introduce Fe vacancies to activate low-spin Fe sites.
