Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging (rs-fMRI) is a non-invasive neuroimaging technique widely utilized in the research of Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), providing preliminary insights into the potential biological mechanisms underlying ASD. Deep learning techniques have demonstrated significant potential in the analysis of rs-fMRI. However, accurately distinguishing between healthy control group and ASD has been a longstanding challenge.

As a new technology with great prospects for popularization and application, environmental DNA (eDNA) technology has been utilized and proven by many studies to have high potential in revealing the various species' biodiversity. In this study, we analyzed the species composition and diversity of the Yangtze River Estuary using a combination of eDNA technology and bottom trawling approaches, and later, the comparison of both methods.

In this study, we integrate multiple technologies, including chemical labeling, immunostaining, and high-resolution microscopy imaging, to visualize the accumulation of MET in organelles of cultured cells.

Difficulties in implicit emotion regulation of the deaf college students: An ERP study.

Background: Deaf college students have been found to experience more difficulties in emotion regulation due to their hearing loss. However, few studies have used neurological measures to assess the characteristics of implicit emotion regulation among deaf college students.

Methods: 30 typical hearing college students and 27 deaf college students completed the implicit emotion regulation task while recording ERP data.

Layer-specific biomechanical and histological properties of normal and dissected human ascending aortas.

Recent studies have attempted to characterize the layer-specific mechanical and microstructural properties of the aortic tissues in either normal or pathological state to understand its structural-mechanical property relationships. However, layer-specific tissue mechanics and compositions of normal and dissected ascending aortas have not been thoroughly compared with a statistical conclusion obtained. Eighteen ascending aortic specimens were harvested from 13 patients with type A aortic dissection and 5 donors without aortic diseases, with each specimen further excised to obtain three tissue samples including an intact wall, an intima-media layer and an adventitia layer.

Idiopathic multiple peripheral arterial dissections:A case report.

Introduction: Compared to aortic dissection and isolated visceral artery dissection, multiple peripheral arterial dissections have not been formally reported to date. Currently, there is no well-established treatment for this condition, and large-scale studies with extensive sample data are lacking.

Based on routine clinical microbiological culture results, the distribution and drug resistance of pathogens associated with pancreatic infections were analyzed.

Background: Speckle-type POZ protein (SPOP), FAS-associated protein with death domain (FADD), and nuclear transcription factor-κB (NF-κB) have been shown to be associated with the development of prostate cancer (PCa). FADD has been shown to activate the NF-κB pathway to promote tumorigenesis, while SPOP has been shown to enhance the breakdown of FADD and inhibit the function of the NF-κB signaling pathway in non-small cell lung cancer. The existence of this mechanism has not yet been confirmed in PCa.

Robotic urologic surgery using the Toumai MT-1000 Endoscopic Surgical System: a single-center prospective analysis.

Background: The Toumai MT-1000 Endoscopic Surgical System is a newly developed surgical robot from China. This study evaluates its feasibility, safety, and effectiveness for various urologic procedures based on our single-center experience.

Methods: From October 2023 to January 2024, 20 urologic procedures were performed at Peking University First Hospital using the Toumai MT-1000 system.

Background: Aggressive angiomyxoma (AAM) is a rare benign mesenchymal tumor known for its aggressive behavior and high recurrence rates, with male cases of AAM being less frequently reported. This study presents a rare case of primary prostatic AAM characterized by a prostatic urethral mass obstructing the bladder outlet, resulting in acute renal dysfunction.

Background: Bladder urothelial carcinoma (BLCA) is a highly heterogeneous cancer with a wide range of prognoses, ranging from low-grade non-muscle-invasive bladder cancer (NMIBC), which has a good prognosis but a high recurrence rate, to high-grade muscle-invasive bladder cancer (MIBC), which has a poor prognosis. Glycosylation dysregulation plays a significant role in cancer development. Therefore, this study aimed to investigate the role of glycosyltransferases (GT)-related genes in the prognosis of BLCA and to develop a prognostic model based on these genes to predict overall survival (OS) and assess its clinical application.

Percutaneous endoscopic resection of a large fibroepithelial polyp in the renal pelvis using a resectoscope: a case report.

Background: Fibroepithelial polyp (FEP) in the renal pelvis is a rare benign tumor of the urinary tract. Treatment of such diseases varies from local resection to radical nephroureterectomy, either by open or endoscopic surgery. This study aims to show our successful experience in percutaneous endoscopic resection of FEP.

Indocyanine green fluorescence-guided robotic Boari flap-pelvis anastomosis for the management of long-segment transplant ureteral stricture: a case series of six patients.

Background: The treatment of transplant ureteral stricture (TUS) has been a great challenge, and there is limited experience with indocyanine green (ICG) fluorescence-guided robotic Boari flap-pelvis anastomosis to identify ureteral stenosis segments (especially long-segment) and their postoperative blood supply. We report case series of ureteral strictures treated with ICG fluorescence-guided robotic Boari flap-pelvis anastomosis in our center.

Case Description: We retrospectively collected clinical data of six patients diagnosed with long-segment even full-length TUS who underwent robotic Boari flap-pelvis anastomosis with the assistance of modified distribution of robotic ports and ICG fluorescence between June 2022 and June 2024, focusing on postoperative renal function, stenosis recurrence, and urinary fistulae.
