APD (auditory processing disorders) is defined as difficulties in processing auditory stimuli within the central nervous system, with normative physical hearing and intellectual disabilities excluded. The scale of this phenomenon among children and adolescents and the need to raise awareness of its occurrence prompted the authors to review currently available diagnostic and therapeutic methods, as well as outline future directions for addressing children affected by APD.

Aim Of The Study: Assessment of the impact of a chronic disease such as cystic fibrosis (CF) on the quality of life and safety of children and adolescents as perceived by parents/caretakers.
Methods: The study was conducted at the Department of Lung Diseases of the Institute of Mother and Child, a branch of the Cystic Fibrosis Centre Children of Warsaw SZPZOZ in Dziekanów Leśny, the largest pediatric CF center in Poland, and in the Rodzinamuko group on Facebook.

Adenoids play an important role in the development of the immune system and serve as a defence against infections, being the first organs that come into contact with respiratory and digestive antigens. Background: The health-related quality of life (HRQoL) concept is nowadays increasingly and more broadly used for helping evaluate the effectiveness of medical treatment, superseding the earlier "quality of life" approach. The HRQoL concept likewise applies to otolaryngology and this narrative review study is focused on HRQoL outcomes in four key childhood otolaryngological diseases as reported in the literature.
Study Aim: To retrospectively evaluate the literature on measuring HRQoL in children suffering from selected otolaryngological illnesses, during treatment.

Purpose: to determine management problems of ovarian masses in girls in order to form a baseline for prospective randomized studies of the established topics and quality improvement of our management.
Materials And Methods: We performed a national analysis of clinical aspects of ovarian masses in girls operated on in Poland, analyzed retrospectively medical files of all consecutive patients aged 0-18 who underwent surgeries for ovarian lesions between 2012 and 2017 at 17 pediatric surgical departments and complemented the analysis with a scoping review of a recent primary research related to ovarian masses in children.
Results: The study group comprised 595 patients.

Introduction: Pseudomonas aeruginosa cross-infections are related to increased morbidity and mortality in cystic fibrosis (CF).
Objectives: The aim of the study was to evaluate the incidence of cross-infections with P. aeruginosa in children with CF.
Purpose: To evaluate the results of intravesical instillations of hyaluronic acid (HA) in the treatment of recurrent bacterial cystitis (RBC), and to assess the rate of tolerability, the rate of recurrence of RBC and side effects of treatment.
Materials And Methods: The study included 23 female patients from September 2012 to May 2013, aged 28-42 years. Twenty three women with a history of RBC, received intravesical instillations of HA once weekly for 6 weeks then once monthly for 8 months.
