A novel multimode colorimetric and fluorescent chemosensor was developed using an 8-hydroxy quinoline carbaldehyde Schiff base with a quinoline hydrazide probe (E)-2-((2-(quinolin-2-yl)hydrazineylidene)methyl)quinolin-8-ol (L). NMR (H & C), FTIR, and HR-mass spectral characterization techniques confirmed the probe L structural conformation. As Probe L contacts Pb ions, a color change and turn-off emission can be visually detected in EtOH:HO (1:1, v/v, pH = 7.

The most common problem faced by dentists during root canal therapy is instrument separation. Instrument separation leads to the inefficient biomechanical preparation of the canals, which can affect the outcome of the root canal-treated tooth. Hence, bypassing the fractured instrument or removal can be accounted as a viable choice to maintain the structural integrity of the tooth.

Estradiol, a major form of estrogen, plays a crucial role in various aspects of brain function, including neuronal health, synaptic plasticity, and cognitive processes. Therefore, it is of interest to investigate the histopathological changes of the rat brain following estradiol treatment in unilateral and bilateral ovariectomized rats, a commonly used method to induce estrogen deficiency and study the consequences of hormonal changes. Two months old Wistar albino female rats were divided into five experimental groups, each consisting of 6 animals.

Introduction: Oral health is an essential non-integrated part of general health that plays a vital role in preventing chronic diseases. The oral cavity acts as a suitable environment for the proliferation of bacteria by forming a connecting link to invade the tissues through direct contact from outside. For the past few decades, there has been increased resistance of human pathogenic bacteria to the currently used antibiotics and chemotherapeutics for tooth decay, gingivitis, periodontitis and fungal infection among different age groups.

Introduction Root canal morphology tends to be complicated by nature and dealing with this intricacy can be challenging because it makes it difficult to completely disinfect the root canal space. The success of root canal therapy is also determined by the biomechanical preparation of the canal with the application of instruments and irrigating solutions. Due to the fact that the root dentin surface continues to interact with the irrigating solution during preparation, it's critical to evaluate the mechanical characteristics and smear layer removal.

Introduction: One of the most prevalent oral diseases affecting preschoolers, early childhood caries (ECC), can significantly lower a child's quality of life. The pain and discomfort that ECC causes will alter the child's eating habits, which will have an impact on both their physical and mental health, as shown by the deviation from the body mass index (BMI). Dental caries and deviation from the normal BMI are both significantly influenced by children's eating habits and socioeconomic status (SES).
