This study aims to reveal the mechanism of Qijia Rougan Decoction(QJRG) and its disassembled formulas in mitigating hepatic fibrosis via the vascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF)/serum response factor(SRF)/c-FOS pathway and hepatic sinusoidal capillarization. Male Sprague-Dawley(SD) rats were randomized into a control group(n=6) and a modeling group(n=28). Hepatic fibrosis was induced by subcutaneous injection of 40% carbon tetrachloride(CCl_4) in olive oil.

Based on network Meta-analysis, we compared the effects of four traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) injections combined with conventional treatment on clinical total effective rate, recovery time of body temperature, cough disappearance time, lung rale disappearance time, wheezing relief time, and lung shadow disappearance time of bronchopneumonia in children and evaluated the safety of the four TCM injections in the treatment of bronchopneumonia in children, so as to provide an evidence-based basis for the clinical use of medication for bronchopneumonia in children. Computer retrieval was performed on CNKI, Wanfang, VIP, SinoMed, PubMed, EMbase, Web of Science, and Cochrane Library databases for randomized controlled trial(RCT) on the treatment of bronchopneumonia in children with TCM injections. The search time limit was from the establishment of each database to 2 January 2024.

Pyroptosis is a programmed cell death (PCD) mainly mediated by the Gasdermin family of proteins, among which Gasdermin E (GSDME) is considered a tumor suppressor gene. GSDME can recruit immune cells to the tumor microenvironment (TME) and promote their effects. Activating and enhancing adaptive immunity through GSDME is a potential solution for anti-tumor therapy.

Purpose: The relationship between macrophages and the progression of abdominal aortic aneurysms (AAA) remains unclear, and effective biomarkers are lacking. In this study, we elucidated the mechanism whereby macrophages promote AAA development and identified associated biomarkers, with the goal of developing new targeted therapies and improving patient outcomes.
Patients And Methods: Differential expression analysis, weighted gene co-expression network analysis, and single-cell analysis were used to identify macrophage-related genes in an AAA dataset.

Acute kidney injury (AKI) is one of the most important indications of severe clinical symptoms in patients with diquat poisoning and is closely related to poor prognosis. However, current studies have rarely focused on early warnings of diquat-related AKI, which is not conducive to the treatment of patients with early clinical diquat poisoning. In this study, untargeted plasma metabolomics was employed to reveal the differences between diquat-poisoned patients with and without AKI, as well as between patients and healthy volunteers.
