Introduction: Prostate cancer is an androgen-dependent malignancy, and the use of androgen deprivation therapies frequently results in treatment resistance, relapse, and the development of aggressive castration-resistant tumors. Patchouli alcohol, a tricyclic sesquiterpene derived from Pogostemon cablin of the Labiatae family, has demonstrated potential in modulating inflammatory responses and tumor progression. This study aimed to investigate the mechanisms through which patchouli alcohol influences inflammatory pathways associated with prostate cancer using bioinformatics and experimental validation.

This study conducted a bibliometric analysis of 4063 qPCR-based biomarker studies sourced from the Web of Science (WOS) database, employing VOSviewer and CiteSpace to generate multi-dimensional structural insights into this field. The results reveal a growing trend in research within this domain, with gene expression analysis playing a central role in the identification of potential biomarkers.

This study aims to investigate the effectiveness of mind mapping in the standardized training and education of internal medicine resident physicians in nephrology. Sixty trainees undergoing rotations in the Nephrology Department at Chengdu University Affiliated Hospital between January 2021 and December 2023 were randomly assigned to control and observation groups, each comprising 30 trainees. The observation group received mind mapping teaching, while the control group received traditional teaching methods.

Exploring the Mechanism of Acupuncture in Improving Ovarian Function in Rats with Poor Ovarian Response Using High-Throughput Sequencing.

Objective: This study aimed to investigate the possible mechanism through which acupuncture protects ovaries with Poor Ovarian Response (POR) in rats based on microRNA (miRNA).

Methods: Thirty-six SPF SD female non-pregnant rats aged 8 weeks were randomly divided into the blank group, model group, and acupuncture group, with 12 rats in each group. According to the group, the rats were given gavage of Tripterygium wilfordii polyglycosides suspension for 14 days to establish the model of POR, and then the rats were treated with acupuncture for 2 weeks, once a day, for 20 minutes.
