Aims: To investigate the quality of care and prescription patterns of patients with diabetic kidney disease (DKD) receiving primary care at local clinics in Taiwan.
Methods: A retrospective chart review was conducted in 43 primary care clinics in Taiwan. The patients' baseline characteristics, laboratory tests, presence of complications and antidiabetic agents prescribed were analyzed.

- The study examined the effectiveness of the deep learning software VeriSee DR for screening diabetic retinopathy (DR) using images from three different fundus camera models.
- All images from the cameras were deemed gradable, achieving 100% gradability, with varying sensitivity (89.3% to 95.7%) and specificity (89.3% to 94.6%) for diagnosing referable DR.
- Results indicated that VeriSee DR can be reliably used across different camera types, showing good diagnostic performance without significant differences among the models.
