Alport syndrome is a hereditary disease characterized by glomerulopathy, manifested by hematuria and/or proteinuria, progressive decline in renal function, often combined with hearing and vision pathology. This article presents a clinical case of spontaneous opening of the anterior lens capsule in a patient with Alport syndrome, accompanied by uveitis and ophthalmic hypertension, and describes the features of the surgical aid and the postoperative period.

Material And Methods: The study included 13 patients (16 eyes) who underwent implantation of the Lentis Comfort EDOF IOL (Teleon Surgical BV, Netherlands). Standard phacoemulsification cataract surgery with IOL implantation was performed in a planned manner after the hypotensive surgery stage in two eyes; a combined procedure was performed in 14 cases.
The introduction of early diagnostic methods for keratoconus into clinical practice has become the basis for the development of surgical treatment techniques for this pathology, such as corneal collagen crosslinking and interlamellar keratoplasty with implantation of intrastromal segments. The article analyzes the results of research by Russian and foreign specialists in these areas and presents the data on the combination of SMILE surgery and corneal crosslinking, the Rome protocol of corneal crosslinking, modifications of interlamellar keratoplasty, the use of femtosecond laser technologies, and some pilot studies. Modern requirements for ophthalmological care require a personalized approach to each patient, and therefore the surgeon should have a wide range of surgical methods of treatment applicable to different patient cohorts.

Purpose: This study analyzes the long-term results of rehabilitation of patients with posttraumatic aniridia and glaucoma.
Material And Methods: The study included 310 patients (310 eyes) with posttraumatic aniridia who had artificial iris-lens diaphragm (ILD) MIOL-Raduzhka implanted in 2002-2022.
Purpose: This study comparatively analyzes the state of accommodation in children with hyperopic anisometropia and amblyopia after femtosecond laser-assisted in situ keratomileusis (Femto-LASIK) combined with pleoptic treatment, and after conventional pleoptic treatment.
Material And Methods: The first group consisted of 30 children with medium and high hyperopia, high and medium amblyopia, and anisometropia greater than 3.0 diopters, who underwent Femto-LASIK in the amblyopic eye.

In March 2020 the World Health Organization (WHO) declared a pandemic of the novel coronavirus infection (COVID-19) caused by the SARS-CoV-2 respiratory virus. The high spread rate of the virus and the severity of the course of the disease are of great clinical and epidemiological significance, making it relevant for ophthalmologists to study the mechanisms of how SARS-CoV-2 infects ocular structures, as well as possible clinical manifestations of the infection in the organ of vision. This review contains analysis, systematization, and generalization of epidemiological and clinical data on SARS-CoV-2 ocular lesions and was carried out with the data found in scientific abstract databases.

Material And Methods: The study included 22 patients (22 eyes; the mean age of study patients was 30.2±5.
Unlabelled: The rising number of cases requiring intraocular lens (IOL) exchange, including those for refractive reasons, drives the search for methods to minimize the trauma of the procedure. Lens implants with modular optics may lower complication risks.
Purpose: To test the use of modular IOL on a laboratory animal in an experiment.

Unlabelled: The active exploration of space requires minimizing negative effects induced by weightlessness (microgravity). Risk reduction can be achieved with the use of artificial gravity created by short-radius centrifuge (SRC). Short-radius centrifuge causes redistribution of body liquids towards the caudal portion of the body imitating a vertical human pose.

Material And Methods: The alloxan model of DM was simulated in 197 rats by a single intraperitoneal injection of 100 mg/kg alloxan hydrate. The animals were divided into 3 groups 7 days after administration of alloxan hydrate.
