: Gallbladder cancer (GBC) is a rare entity with a poor prognosis, usually discovered late due to nonspecific symptoms; therefore, over the last years, attention has been focused on identifying the risk factors for developing this malignancy in order to provide an early diagnosis, as well as new prognostic factors in order to modulate the long-term evolution of such cases. The aim of this review is to discuss both major risk factors and prognostic factors in GBC for a better understanding and integration of relevant and currently available information. : A literature search was performed using Cochrane Library, PubMed, Google Scholar, Elsevier, and Web of Science; studies published after the year of 2000, in English, were reviewed.

Purpose: The occurrence of genitourinary (GU) toxicity is a common adverse event observed after external beam radiation therapy (EBRT) for prostate cancer (PCa). Recent findings suggest that the dose delivered to specific urinary organs at risk (OARs) such as the ureters, bladder trigone, and urethra is involved in the development of GU toxicity.
Methods And Materials: A multidisciplinary task force including 3 radiation oncologists, a uroradiologist, and a urologist was created in 2022.

Background: Diagnosis of acute ischemia typically relies on evidence of ischemic lesions on magnetic resonance imaging (MRI), a limited diagnostic resource. We aimed to determine associations of clinical variables and acute infarcts on MRI in patients with suspected low-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA) and minor stroke and to assess their predictive ability.
Methods: We conducted a post-hoc analysis of the Diagnosis of Uncertain-Origin Benign Transient Neurological Symptoms (DOUBT) study, a prospective, multicenter cohort study investigating the frequency of acute infarcts in patients with low-risk neurological symptoms.

Ovarian cancer remains one of the most lethal gynaecological malignancies affecting women worldwide; therefore, attention has been focused on identifying new prognostic factors which might help the clinician to select cases who could benefit most from surgery versus cases in which neoadjuvant systemic therapy followed by interval debulking surgery should be performed. The aim of the current paper is to identify whether preoperative inflammation could serve as a prognostic factor for advanced-stage ovarian cancer. Material and methods: The data of 57 patients who underwent to surgery for advanced-stage ovarian cancer between 2014 and 2020 at the Cantacuzino Clinical Hospital were retrospectively reviewed.

Importance: Immune checkpoint inhibitors (ICIs) have limited activity in microsatellite-stable (MSS) or mismatch repair-proficient (pMMR) colorectal cancer. Recent findings suggest the efficacy of ICIs may be modulated by the presence of liver metastases (LM).
Objective: To investigate the association between the presence of LM and ICI activity in advanced MSS colorectal cancer.

Background: Gallstone disease will affect 15% of the adult population with concomitant common bile duct stone (CBDS) occurring in up to 30%. Endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP) is the mainstay of management for removal of CBDS, as cholecystectomy for the prevention of recurrent biliary event (RBE). RBE occurs in up to 47% if cholecystectomy is not done.

Purpose: Clinical target volume (CTV) delineation for pelvic lymph nodes in prostate cancer is currently based on 3 consensus guidelines with some inherent discrepancies. To improve the reproducibility in nodal delineation, the Francophone Group of Urological Radiotherapy (Groupe Francophone de Radiothérapie Urologique [GFRU]) worked toward proposing an easily applicable, reproducible, and practice-validated contouring guideline for pelvic nodal CTV.
Methods And Materials: The nodal CTV data sets of a high-risk node-negative prostate cancer clinical case contoured by 86 radiation oncologists participating in a GFRU contouring workshop were analyzed.

Background: For many patients with resected epidermal growth factor receptor mutation-positive (EGFRm) non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), current standard of care (SoC) is adjuvant chemotherapy; however, disease recurrence remains high. Based on positive results from ADAURA (NCT02511106), adjuvant osimertinib was approved for treatment of resected stage IB‒IIIA EGFRm NSCLC.
Objective: The aim was to assess the cost-effectiveness of adjuvant osimertinib in patients with resected EGFRm NSCLC.

Transbronchial cryobiopsy (TBCB) for the diagnosis of interstitial lung disease (ILD) has shown promising results, but prospective studies with matched surgical lung biopsy (SLB) have yielded conflicting results. We aimed to assess within- and between-center diagnostic agreement between TBCB and SLB at both the histopathologic and multidisciplinary discussion (MDD) levels in patients with diffuse ILD. In a multicenter prospective study, we performed matched TBCB and SLB in patients referred for SLB.

Acquired benign trachea-oesophageal fistula is a rare benign pathological entity with varying aetiologies that most often occurs post-intubation. This case report presents the case of a female patient, 31 years old, admitted to the emergency room with sepsis syndrome following bilateral aspiration pneumonia caused by a large trachea-oesophageal fistula. The fistula was the result of intra-tracheal migration of an oesophageal stent placed for post lye ingestion stenosis.

Introduction: The psychometric properties of the Arab translation of the Compulsive Internet Use Scale (CIUS) have been previously studied by confirmatory factor analysis (CFA) with AMOS software using the asymptotically distribution-free (ADF) estimator. Unidimensionality has been achieved at the cost of correlating several item variance errors. However, several reviews of SEM software packages and estimation methods indicate that the option of robust standard errors is not present in the AMOS package and that ADF estimation may yield biased parameter estimates.

Group A (GAS) is a rare cause of peritonitis with only a few reports of disease associated with surgical abortion, vaginal delivery, or intrauterine devices, most of which are speculated to be in association with the female genital tract. Only a single case of GAS infection transmission through contemporary oral sex has been previously reported. We report a strange case of GAS peritonitis occurring after abortion and oral sex.

Background: Synchronous colonic cancer incidence is uncommon, and awareness about this rare condition is improved recently. However, in the presence of acute colonic obstruction, investigation and management of synchronous colonic cancer can be difficult and challenging.
Case Summary: A patient presented with acute colonic obstruction with impending rupture and complete examination of this patient revealed the presence of three colonic cancers, of which two were completely occluding.
Twenty six empirical investigations have now established that children and adults with DSM-defined Attention deficit/Hyperactivity disorder (ADHD) of the Hyperactive type (ADHD-H) or, more commonly, Combined Hyperactive/Inattentive types (ADHD-C) manifest a small but significant visual attentional bias to the right side (left subclinical neglect), consistently suggesting the existence of a subtle right hemisphere dysfunction or hemispheric imbalance in hyperactive people. Only one research team has investigated and compared the DSM-defined Inattentive subtype (ADHD-I) to the Hyperactive subtype (ADHD-H), confirming that line bisection is biased to the right in ADHD-H and discovering that it is biased to the left in ADHD-I. We aimed to test whether a similar crossed double dissociation would extend to Rey's Complex Figure Copy Task (RCF-CT), a simple visuospatial-constructive task.
