Sarcoidosis is a multisystemic granulomatous disease of unknown causes, and cutaneous sarcoidosis (CS) is an early manifestation of the disease. Dermoscopy has gained increasing interest in the past few years as an aid in the clinical diagnosis of inflammatory and infectious skin manifestations. We present a case report about a single, erythematous, and asymptomatic plaque on the face with unexpected dermoscopy characteristics of CS.

Clinical and dermoscopic features of genital pigmented Bowen disease.

Pigmented Bowen disease (pBD) is an uncommon variant of squamous cell carcinoma in situ. Sometimes it can show clinical and dermoscopic features that are seen in other pigmented lesions of the skin and mucosa, making the diagnosis difficult. We report six cases of pBD occurring on the anogenital area, and discuss the importance of dermoscopy for improving the diagnostic accuracy in pBD.

Pemphigus Vegetans was first described as a variant of Pemphigus Vulgaris in 1876 by Neumann. In 1889, Hallopeau described a patient with pustules and vegetating plaques, suggesting that it would be a variant of Pemphigus Vegetans of Neumann. Both types of Pemphigus Vegetans are characterized by the development of vegetating plaques especially on skin folds (axillae, groin, perianal region).
