Design: A retrospective, observational, multicenter cohort study.

Setting: A total of 307 patients without propensity score matching and 186 adult inpatients with propensity score matching diagnosed with hypertension and moderate-severe pulmonary acute respiratory distress syndrome in five teaching hospitals in Jiangsu province, China, from December 2015 to December 2020 were enrolled.

Objective: To explore the clinical significance of intraoperative ultrasound in neurosurgery for hypertensive intracerebral hemorrhage (ICH).

Methods: Patients with hypertensive ICH who required to undergo surgical treatment were assigned into treatment group (126 cases), who were assisted by intraoperative ultrasound, and control group (122 cases), who were not assisted by intraoperative ultrasound. In the treatment group, intraoperative ultrasound was used for real-time positioning after opening the bone flap, so as to guide the surgery.

Methods: In this retrospective cohort study, we analyzed 86 patients, including 46 male patients and 41 female patients, who suffered from single-segmental lumbar spinal stenosis in our department between January 2016 and January 2018. They were divided into two groups: a control group (n = 46), for patients who underwent open TLIF surgery, and an experimental group (n = 40), for patients who underwent Mis-TLIF surgery.

Background: The neutrophil-to-lymphocyte ratio (NLR) and platelet-to-lymphocyte ratio (PLR) have been used as indicators of inflammation, however, their roles in dry eye disease (DED) patients require advanced study.

Materials And Methods: A total of 104 DED cases and 97 healthy controls from January 2020 to May 2020 were enrolled in this study. The dry eye related clinical variables, including Schirmer I test, tear break-up time (TBUT), corneal fluorescein staining (CFS) and Ocular Surface Disease Index (OSDI), were detected in all the participants.
