In order to construct a clinical classification prediction model for hydrocephalus after intercerebral haemorrhage(ICH) to guide clinical treatment decisions, this paper retrospectively analyses the clinical data of 844 cases of ICH and hydrocephalus inpatients admitted to Yueyang People's Hospital from May 2019 to October 2022, of which 95 cases of hydrocephalus occurred after ICH and no hydrocephalus in 749 cases. The following indicators were compared between the two groups of patients: gender, age, Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS)score, whether the amount of bleeding was greater than 30 ml, whether it broke into the ventricle or not, modified Graeb score(MGS), modified Rankin Scale (MRS) score, whether surgery was performed or not, red blood cells, white blood cells, and platelets. After variable screening, the following six variables were selected: GCS score, MGS, MRS score, whether the bleeding volume was greater than 30 ml, whether it broke into the ventricle or not, and whether surgery was performed or not were modelled and analysed using logistic regression model and support vector machine model in machine learning.

In order to systematically study the bending behavior of the connection joints of the disc-buckle type formwork support, the accurate numerical model of the disc-buckle type connection joints was obtained through the experimental on the bending behavior of the connection joints of the disc-buckle type, and the bending moment-rotation curve of the joints was verified. The analysis of the failure mode and stress distribution of the joints reveals the importance of the bending behavior of each component. By establishing an accurate numerical model of the joint, the accuracy of the bending experiment of the joint was verified, and the parametric analysis of the influence factors such as the depth of the wedge insertion the disk-plate, the initial position of the wedge insertion the disk-plate, the thickness of the wedge, material constitutive of the wedge and the thickness of the disk-plate was carried out to grasp the influence of the relevant parameters on the bending behavior of the joint.

With abundant bioactive natural chemicals including polysaccharides, flavonoids, triterpenoids, and polyphenols, Sanghuang exhibits anticancer, antioxidant, blood glucose-and lipid-lowering, liver protecting, anti-inflammatory, antimicrobial, and gout symptom-relieving effects, thus demonstrating broad application and development prospects in the pharmaceutical and food fields. However, the sustainable development of Sanghuang resources is limited by the scarce stock of wild resources, the diverse original fungi of cultivated Sanghuang, the inconsistency of local standards of Sanghuang materials or products, and the lagging application of Sanghuangporus mycelia.

The cobalt-nitrogen-carbon (Co─N─C) single-atom catalysts (SACs) are promising alternatives to precious metals for catalyzing the hydrogen evolution reaction (HER) and their activity is highly dependent on the coordination environments of the metal centers. Herein, a NaHCO etching strategy is developed to introduce abundant in-plane pores within the carbon substrates that further enable the construction of low-coordinated and asymmetric Co─N sites with nearby vacancy defects in a Co─N─C catalyst. This catalyst exhibits a high HER activity with an overpotential (η) of merely 78 mV to deliver a current density of 10 mA cm, a Tafel slope of 45.

An exciting upconversion nanoprobe conditioning strategy is proposed to improve the signal-to-background ratio (SBR) through a dye-sensitized strategy, in which the dye functions both as a recognition unit of the detection target and as a sensitizer to amplify the visible luminescence of the lanthanide-doped upconversion nanoparticles (UCNPs), instead of a quencher. The application of this dye-sensitized upconversion nanoprobe to the visual detection of nerve agent mimics diethoxy phosphatidylcholine (DCP) showed excellent detection performance, with up to 110-fold enhancement of the luminescence response of the probe in DCP solution and a detection limit as low as 2 nM. Finally, we performed visual detection of DCP solution and vapor by using test strips containing the probe.

Here, we report the advantages of metastable DNA hybridization in reducing quantification deviation of equilibrium concentration and propose a universal and standardized strategy for measuring aptamer binding energy, termed metastable DNA reference calorimetry (MDRC). We built different MDRC-based algorithms tailored to different aptamer binding models, enabling the calculation of thermodynamic parameters for aptamers with one or more binding sites.

Single-electron transfer, low alkali metal contents, and large-molecular masses limit the capacity of cathodes. This study uses a cost-effective and light-molecular-mass orthosilicate material, KFeSiO, with a high initial potassium content, as a cathode for potassium-ion batteries to enable the transfer of more than one electron. Despite the limited valence change of Fe ions during cycling, KFeSiO can undergo multiple electron transfers via successive oxygen anionic redox reactions to generate a high reversible capacity.
