Dendrobium is comprised of a diverse range of chemical compounds, notably the Bibenzyls, Erianin, and Gigantol, which have exhibited significant inhibitory and therapeutic effects on cervical cancer, thereby suggesting potential therapeutic value.

Copper is an important mineral, and moderate copper is required to maintain physiological processes in nervous system including cerebral ischemia/reperfusion (I/R) injury. Over the past few decades, copper induced cell death, named cuprotosis, has attracted increasing attention. To address the low docking accuracy of existing robotic wheelchair/beds, this study proposes an automatic docking framework integrating light detection and ranging (LIDAR), visual positioning, and laser ranging. First, a mobile chassis was designed for an intelligent wheelchair/bed with independent four-wheel steering. In the remote guidance phase, the simultaneous localization and mapping (SLAM) algorithm was employed to construct an environment map, achieving remote guidance and obstacle avoidance through the integration of LIDAR, inertial measurement unit (IMU), and an improved A* algorithm.

Objectives: To explore the impact of social support on CF and further clarify the mediating role of self-efficacy among Geriatric Services and Management interns.

Methods: A cross-sectional survey study examined social support, self-efficacy and CF in 592 interns in Geriatric Services and Management from 46 institutions in China.

Result: The level of CF among Geriatric Services and Management interns is low but about one-third of the respondents is at high risk of CF.

This paper uses a sophisticated four-dimensional Hopfield neural network (HNN) model augmented with one or more memristors to simulate the effects of EMR. We focus on the chaotic dynamics of HNN under the influence of EMR.

Although the novel natural orifice specimen extraction surgery (NOSES) results in less trauma, its safety and effectiveness are relatively unknown. In the present study, we used propensity score matching to compare the effectiveness and safety of NOSES and robotic resection for treating colorectal cancer.

A multi-case study of the vertically integrated health-care at county-level in rural China: towards holistic and dynamic governance.

Background: In contrast to the Grading Diagnosis and Treatment System (GDTS), Vertically Integrated Health-care at County-level (VIHC) is a strategic policy in rural China. This research intends to analyze the shift in governance paradigm with regard to the adjustment of the power structure and interest relationships among various participants, using the building of VIHC as a cut-in point.

Methods: We carry out a multi-case study to investigate the paradigms of health governance when building VIHC in three different rural counties in China.

Using a random number table, the rats that were successfully modelled were assigned to the PIC, XBZY group (14.8 g/kg/d), and montelukast sodium treatment (MAS) group (1 mg/kg/d).

Xiebai Zengye decoction improves respiratory function and attenuates inflammation in juvenile rats with postinfection cough via regulating ERK signaling pathway.

This study aimed to determine the effects of Xiebai Zengye decoction (XBZY) on airway inflammation and respiratory function in rats with postinfectious cough (PIC), and its regulatory effects on the extracellular signal-regulated kinase (ERK) signaling pathway. Compared with the normal group, the rats from the PIC group had significantly shortened expiratory time (TE) and enhanced pause (EEP), increased resistance (RT), and enhanced pause (Penh), along with increased levels of serum interleukin-4 (IL-4) and IL-6, and decreased levels of IL-10. The lung and colon tissues of rats from the PIC group showed histopathological changes, including inflammatory cell infiltration, damaged mucosal epithelium, and crypt structure, with significantly increased ERK mRNA and protein expression levels.

Objective To explore the impact of sinomenine on bleomycin A5-induced pulmonary fibrosis (PF) in rats and the underlying mechanism. Methods MRC-5 cells were cultured and treated with sinomenine to determine its optimal concentration and time through the MTT assay. Subsequently, MRC-5 cells were incubated with 80 μmol/L sinomenine for 48 hours or transfected with miR-21 mimic/a disintegrin-like and metalloproteinase with thrombospondin type 1 motif (ADAMTS-1) siRNA prior to sinomenine treatment.

Objective To observe the role of tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α) and platelet-derived growth factor-B (PDGF-B) in kiwi fruit essence-mediated protection of radiation-induced lung injury (RILI) in rats. Methods 96 male healthy Sprague-Dawley rats were divided into normal control group, model group, and kiwi fruit essence treatment group(60 and 240 mg/kg) by the random number table method, with 24 animals in each group. The whole lungs underwent 6 MV X-ray irradiation (18 Gy) to induce RILI animal models in rats of the latter three groups.
