Purpose: To investigate the effects of chronic periodontitis on the quality of life and severity of the disease in patients with bronchiectasis.

Methods: A total of 80 bronchiectasis patients admitted to The Fourth Hospital of Changsha between April 2021 and April 2023 were randomly selected. Patients were divided into two groups according to whether they had moderate to severe chronic periodontitis: bronchiectasis with periodontitis group (n=45) and bronchiectasis without periodontitis group (n=35).

Objective: To investigate the effects of carbamazepine and sodium valproate on efficacy, cognitive function and uric acid in epileptic patients with first generalized seizure.

Methods: 120 epilepsy patients with first generalized seizure who admitted to our hospital from March 2017 to March 2019, were selected and randomly divided into carbamazepine-group and sodium valproate-group, with 60 objects in each group. Both groups of patients received medication for one year.
