Osteoporosis is defined as a skeletal disorder characterized by impairment in bone strength. The potential application of lncRNAs as therapeutic targets for osteoporosis has been unveiled. This study investigated the regulatory mechanism of lncRNA MALAT1 in the differentiation of bone marrow stem cells (BMSCs) and macrophages (Mø) in osteoporosis.

Background And Aim: In our study, we aimed to investigate the effect of ultrasound-targeted microbubble destruction (UTMD)mediated si-CyclinD1 (CCND1) on the growth of hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) cells.

Patients And Methods: Bioinformatics analysis was performed to detect the difference of CCND1 expression of HCC and normal liver tissues. After treatment with UTMDmediated si-CCND1, the growth and apoptosis of HepG2 cells were detected by flow cytometry, MTT, EdU staining, colony formation assay, Hoechst 33,258 staining and Western blot analysis.

Article Synopsis
  • Lingzhi, a medicinal fungus known as LINGZHI, has been used for centuries in Far Eastern folk medicine and is considered a superior medicine in ancient Chinese texts.
  • The study focused on recombinant LZ-8 (rLZ-8), a protein derived from this fungus, which was found to aid the differentiation of bone marrow stem cells into neutrophils in mice with neutropenia caused by chemotherapy.
  • rLZ-8 also appears to enhance the mobilization of these stem cells and neutrophil release, suggesting its potential as a treatment for chemotherapy-induced neutropenia.

The inhibitory effect of resveratrol on the growth of gastric cancer cells through downregulation of the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway were studied. First we determined the effective concentration of resveratrol on the growth and proliferation of MGC-803 gastric cancer cells. Methylthiazolyl tetrazolium assay showed that resveratrol significantly inhibited the proliferation of MGC-803 cells in a dose-dependent manner.

In this study, the total alkaloids of Huangteng were given to the rats by the methods of intragastric administration and tail vein. After the concentration changes of palmatine and jatrorrhizine in the plasma of rats were determined by RP-HPLC, pharmacokinetic parameters and oral bioavailability were calculated by 3P97 software. After the rats were pre-treated with total alkaloid 60 mg•kg⁻¹ by the methods of intragastric administration and tail vein, the main pharmacokinetic parameters were determined as follows: in the intragastric administration group, the Cmax of palmatine and jatrorrhizine were (0.
