As natural furocoumarins, psoralen and its isomer isopsoralen are widely distributed in various fruits including L., vegetables including celery, and medicinal herbs including L. Although psoralen and isopsoralen have been used as dietary supplements because of their bioactivities such as antibacterial and anti-inflammatory properties; however, the potential mechanisms underlying the antioxidant activities of these two furocoumarins still need to be explored.

In this work, we developed a general synthesis method for the water-soluble lanthanide ion-doped NaYF upconversion (UC) nanoparticles (NPs) using triethylene glycol (TEG) as a high temperature solvent and diacid as a surfactant. Since the boiling point of the TEG is as high as 289.4 °C, the synthesis temperature can be correspondingly increased to a higher temperature that is a bit lower than this one.

In 2019, the newly revised Drug Administration Law of the People's Republic of China was issued and implemented, clearly proposing that China should establish a pharmacovigilance system. As a new traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) dosage form created in China, TCM injections have been widely used in clinic, and its pharmacovigilance has attracted much attention. In response to this situation, the project team convened a group of clinical, pharmaceutical and evidence-based medicine experts from all over the country to form an expert group, which formulated the Pharmacovigilance guidelines for clinical application of traditional Chinese medicine injections in strict accordance with the requirements of the group standards of the Chinese Association of Chinese Medicine.

Objective: The objective of this study was to examine the impact of "Tianyu" Pairing on oxidative stress in the development of Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) and approach its potential mechanism using cell experiments.

Methods: A cell model of RA was developed by stimulating rheumatoid arthritis fibroblast-like synoviocytes (RA-FLS) with tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α). This model aimed to assess the impact of serum containing Rhodiola rosea-Euonymus alatus drug pair (TYP) on inflammation and oxidative stress in the development of RA, specifically through the Keap1/Nrf2/HO-1 pathway.

State Key Laboratory for Quality Insurance and Sustainable Use of Dao-di Herbs, National Resource Center for Chinese Materia Medica, China Academy of Chinese Medical Sciences Beijing 100700, China.

In this study, the chemical components of ethanol extract from the aromatic parts of Syringa oblata were systematically separated and purified by silica gel column chromatography, thin layer plate preparation and liquid phase preparation. Combined with ultraviolet analyzer(UV), infrared analyzer(IR), nuclear magnetic resonance analyzer(NMR), high resolution mass spectrometer(HR-ESI-MS), X-ray diffraction and other spectrum technology as well as literature physicochemical data comparison methods for structural identification, a total of 10 compounds were identified. They were identified as oblatanoid D(1),(-)-T-muurolol(2), oblatanoid E-G(3-5), 14-noreudesma-3-hydroxy-3-en-2,9-dione(6), 1-isopropyl-2,7-dimethylnaphthalene(7), isocoradiol(8), α-calacorene(9), cadin-4-en-1-β-ol(10).

In this work, a novel fluorescence sensor UiO-66-PSM based on post-synthetic modified metal-organic frameworks was prepared for the detection of berberine hydrochloride (BBH) in the traditional Chinese herb . UiO-66-PSM was synthesized by a simple Schiff base reaction with UiO-66-NH and phthalaldehyde (PAD). The luminescence quenching can be attributed to the photo-induced electron transfer process from the ligand of UiO-66-PSM to BBH.

Background: Functional dyspepsia (FD) is a common digestive system disease in pediatrics, usually affects normal growth and increases health care expenditure. Many investigations have demonstrated that external treatment of traditional Chinese medicine (TCM) has certain advantages in the treatment of FD children, but the effectiveness, safety, and advantages of various methods have not been confirmed by high-quality meta-analyses. This study will conduct a systematic review and network meta-analysis to evaluate the differences and effectiveness in external treatments of TCM, in order to provide a reference for further clinical treatment for FD in children.

Compound characterization has been achieved through a combination of FT-IR, multinuclear NMR spectroscopy (H, C, F) and elemental analysis. In addition, L1, Ni1 and Ni5 have been structurally characterized with Ni1 and Ni5 revealing similarly distorted tetrahedral geometries about nickel but with distinct differences in the steric protection offered by the -substituents.
