Background: The aim of the study was to assess seroprevalence of anti-SARS-CoV-2 antibodies among healthcare workers (HCW) before introduction of vaccination, in selected areas in Poland as well as to identify potential risk factors and estimate the cumulative incidence of COVID-19 infections in this population.
Material And Methods: The authors conducted a sero-epidemiological, cross-sectional study among HCW of 5 non-COVID-19 hospitals in Poland. The recruitment took place in December 1-23, 2020, all HCW at selected hospitals could volunteer into the study.

The evaluation of treatment from the patient's perspective (Patient Reported Outcomes, PROs) currently remains one of the most vibrant and dynamically developing fields of research. Among PROs, patient self-assessment of various symptoms, including one's psychological state, is of great importance. Anxiety is one of the most frequently observed psychological reactions among patients awaiting various surgeries, and may occur even in up to 80% of patients scheduled for high-risk surgical procedures.

Background: Unfavourable circulatory system conditions have been observed in many patients with spinal anaesthesia. The most frequent symptoms include a decrease in blood pressure and, less frequently, bradycardia. The appearance of unfavourable consequences of spinal anaesthesia might be related to the initial status of the patient's circulatory system.
