Leucocyte superoxide dismutase levels in acute and chronic leukemias.

Superoxide dismutase "SOD" enzyme levels in leucocytes of patients with acute and chronic leukemia, were measured by using Misra and Fridovich's epinephrine method. In all types of leukemia, the SOD levels were found to be significantly higher than normals. However, these levels decreased to normal in remission.
