A 47-year-old female patient was referred to our glaucoma clinic for a second opinion concerning bilateral visual field progression despite maximal tolerated medical therapy. After aggressive intraocular pressure lowering and resorting to surgical and optimised medical treatment, the visual field kept stable in the right eye but was still showing progression in the left eye.

Introduction: Atopic dermatitis (AD) is a difficult-to-treat inflammatory skin disease with a high impact on patients' quality of life. Dupilumab, an IL-4 and IL-13 inhibitor, was the first monoclonal antibody approved for the treatment of moderate-to-severe AD and is currently approved in patients aged 6 or older.
Methods: This is a nationwide, multicenter, retrospective, 48-week study designed by the Portuguese Group of AD to assess real-world efficacy and safety of dupilumab for the treatment of AD.

Postpartum peripheral nerve disorders are an uncommon obstetrical complication, with most cases resulting from intrinsic obstetric palsies. We present the case of a full-term nulliparous pregnant 33-year-old woman with a vacuum-assisted vaginal delivery due to a prolonged second stage of labour and occipitoposterior position of the fetal head. For analgesia, a combined spinal-epidural technique was used.

Identification of to species level is important since sibling species may display variable susceptibilities to multiple antifungal drugs and also because correct identification contributes to improve the knowledge of epidemiological studies. Two retrospective laboratory studies were conducted on surveillance at the Portuguese National Mycology Reference Laboratory. The first, covering the period 2017-2018, aimed to study the molecular epidemiology of 256 isolates obtained from patients with respiratory, subcutaneous, or systemic infections and from environmental samples.
