Background: Evidence is mounting that domestic use of disinfectants and cleaning products (DCP), particularly in spray form, is associated with wheezing in children. Beyond the home environment, many children are also exposed to DCP in daycare. The links between daycare exposures to DCP and child respiratory health have never before been studied.

Background: Several major sensitization profiles have been described in children with asthma, but it remains unclear how these profiles relate to asthma phenotypes. The aim of this study was to determine allergenic sensitization profiles in a megacity cohort (SAMP).
Methods: This was a cross-sectional analysis performed from 2011 to 2015 including preschool and school-age children with severe and moderate asthma from the SAMP cohort.

In patients with moderate to severe atopic dermatitis (AD) showing an inadequate response to dupilumab 300mg/2weeks, few real-life studies reported the response to alternative regimen maintaining dupilumab. To assess and analyze the response to an increased dose of dupilumab or its combination with cyclosporin A (CsA), methotrexate (MTX), or itraconazole (ITRA), all adult AD patients from 7 French University Hospitals were retrospectively included if they achieved an inadequate response to dupilumab 300mg/2weeks and were subsequently treated with an increased dose of dupilumab (300mg every 7 or 10 days), or a combination of dupilumab 300mg/2weeks with CsA, MTX or ITRA. The response after 3 months, along with epidemiological, clinical, and therapeutic baseline characteristics, were collected.

Climate change has significant consequences for children's respiratory health. Rising temperatures and extreme weather events increase children's exposure to allergens, mould, and air pollutants. Children are particularly vulnerable to these airborne particles due to their higher ventilation per unit of body weight, more frequent mouth breathing, and outdoor activities.

Background: Influenza vaccines are effective in decreasing hospitalizations and mortality related to influenza and its complications. However, the Vaccine Coverage Rate of influenza remains low and multifaceted efforts are required to improve it. The aim of this study was to assess the impact on influenza vaccine perception using a digital tool among outpatients and health care workers (HCWs).

Background: The contribution of Staphylococcus aureus to the exacerbation of atopic dermatitis (AD) is widely documented, but its role as a primary trigger of AD skin symptoms remains poorly explored.
Objectives: This study sought to reappraise the main bacterial factors and underlying immune mechanisms by which S aureus triggers AD-like inflammation.
Methods: This study capitalized on a preclinical model, in which different clinical isolates were applied in the absence of any prior experimental skin injury.

Histamine is responsible for many processes mediated by different receptors expressed on a variety of cells. The discovery of the first H1 antihistamines in the 1940s led to the development of numerous H1 and H2 antagonists with a broad application in many indications. The recent identification of two new histamine receptors (H3, H4) in the 1980s and 2000s led to the market authorization in Switzerland of new drugs since 2018.

Cellular therapy using genetically modified T lymphocytes expressing synthetic receptors, known as CAR (Chimeric Antigen Receptor), has revolutionized the treatment of certain hematologic malignancies. This success has led to exploring the same approach in the treatment of severe autoimmune diseases refractory to conventional therapies. Initial results in systemic lupus erythematosus have shown complete remissions that appear to persist over time.

The diagnosis of cardiac sarcoidosis, particularly in its isolated cardiac form, represents a major challenge due to non-specific symptoms and the limited sensitivity and specificity of basic cardiac investigations. MRI and metabolic PET-CT are important elements in the diagnostic process. Corticosteroids remain the cornerstone for the treatment of the inflammatory phase, in association with biological agents and steroid-sparing therapies.

Background And Aims: Systemic mastocytosis (SM) is characterized by the accumulation of atypical mast cells (MCs) in organs. Liver histology of SM has been marginally described and accurate histological classification is critical, given the consequences of aggressive SM diagnosis. We aimed to describe the histological features associated with liver SM using updated tools.
