A 37-year-old patient was admitted for a left progressive left-hand hemiparesis associated with left C4-C5 neuralgia preceded by inflammatory neck pain for 04 months and dysphagia for 02 weeks. Magnetic resonance imaging showed C3-C5 spondylodiscitis lesions with epidural abscess and predominantly left lateralized compression of the spinal cord and retropharyngeal abscess. The patient was operated for incision and drainage of the retropharyngeal abscess through the oral cavity and Koch bacillus was demonstrated from the aspirate by molecular technique GeneXpert.

Objectives: The objective of this study was to assess the prevalence of albuminuria in sickle cell disease patients at the Campus University Hospital of Lome.

Patients And Method: Albuminuria was assessed by the urinary albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) in sickle cell disease individuals who attended the outpatient consultation in their steady state.

Results: The prevalence of albuminuria was 21% (14/67).

The objective of this study was to describe the social, demographic, and clinical profile of inpatients and outpatients 60 years or older treated for psychiatric disorders. This descriptive and analytic retrospective study took place at the inpatient and outpatient psychiatry departments at two university hospital centers in Lomé: Campus and Sylvanus Olympio of Lomé. It included patients aged 60 years or older seen during the 10-year period 2004-2013 who met ICD-10 diagnostic criteria for psychiatric disease.

Purpose: To study the impact of certain allergens on the manifestations of tropical endemic limbo-conjunctivitis (TELC) in Togolese children.

Methods: This is a 3-year prospective study of 36 Togolese children with acute recurrences of TELC after 1 to 5 months of remission. Skin prick tests were conducted with five perennial respiratory allergens (dust mites, paper mites, roaches, dog and cat, grass pollen) and three food allergens (egg, peanut, shrimp).
