The TRIPOD-LLM reporting guideline for studies using large language models.

Large language models (LLMs) are rapidly being adopted in healthcare, necessitating standardized reporting guidelines. We present transparent reporting of a multivariable model for individual prognosis or diagnosis (TRIPOD)-LLM, an extension of the TRIPOD + artificial intelligence statement, addressing the unique challenges of LLMs in biomedical applications. TRIPOD-LLM provides a comprehensive checklist of 19 main items and 50 subitems, covering key aspects from title to discussion.

A phase II study of zandelisib in patients with relapsed or refractory indolent non-Hodgkin lymphoma: ME-401-K02 study.

Zandelisib, a selective, potent PI3Kδ inhibitor, demonstrated favourable outcomes in patients with relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma in a global phase II study. This phase II study evaluated the efficacy and safety of zandelisib for relapsed or refractory follicular lymphoma or marginal zone lymphoma. Sixty-one patients received zandelisib orally at 60 mg daily continuously in the first two 28-day cycles, followed by intermittent dosing on Days 1-7 following each cycle until progressive disease or unacceptable toxicity.

Characteristics of refractory disease and persistent symptoms in inflammatory arthritis: Qualitative framework analysis of interviews with patients and health care professionals.

Methods: Fifty-one patients with CIPN ≥ grade 1 subsequent to receiving platinum- and/or taxane-based chemotherapy types were randomized to 8 weeks of high tone external muscle stimulation (HTEMS) or transcutaneous electrical nerve stimulation (TENS). An effective strategy with tofacitinib for the management of focal myositis with rheumatoid arthritis: a case report.

Focal myositis is a rare, localized, benign, self-limiting, and non-suppurative inflammatory lesion of the skeletal muscle that may occasionally occur as a complication of rheumatic diseases. This case report discusses a 58-year-old patient with rheumatoid arthritis, who was diagnosed with focal myositis during standard immunosuppressive therapy. The patient was treated with tofacitinib; to our knowledge, this is the first reported case of focal myositis managed with this medication.

Diagnosing acute graft-versus-host disease (aGvHD) following allogeneic hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is challenging due to heterogeneity in interpreting current clinical criteria. Recently, the Mount Sinai Acute GvHD International Consortium (MAGIC) criteria were introduced to improve diagnostic consistency. In a study of 117 pediatric patients undergoing HSCT, the modified Glucksberg and the MAGIC criteria were retrospectively compared.

Real-World Prevalence, Incidence and Management of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus in Germany: A Retrospective Claims Data Analysis.

Introduction: This study evaluated the prevalence and incidence of systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) in Germany and explored real-world data on sequence of therapy (SOT; sequence of drugs as prescribed in clinical practice).

Methods: This retrospective, observational, longitudinal cohort study using German claims data from the WIG2 GmbH Scientific Institute for Health Economics and Health System Research database (January 2011-December 2019), extrapolated to the statutory health insurance (SHI)-insured population, evaluated prevalence and incidence in an epidemiological analysis group and SLE treatment patterns in an incident cohort (subgroup ≥ 18 years of age with incident disease and ≥ 24-month follow-up post index date). Can mindfulness have long-term impact on patients with fibromyalgia? A two-year prospective follow-up study of a mindfulness-based intervention.

To examine changes in symptoms and health status in patients with fibromyalgia (FM) 24 months after participating in the mindfulness-based group-program, the Vitality Training (VTP), followed by physical exercise counselling. Seventy-six participants, mean age (range) 43 (26-52), females 69 (91%), diagnosed with FM according to the ACR 2011-criteria received the VTP in a previous randomised controlled trial. Control group participants could receive the VTP after a 12-month observation period, therefore only data from the intervention group were analysed in the present study.
