Context: Alternative and complementary medicines are currently experiencing a real boom worldwide, especially among cancer patients who are looking to improve their physical and mental well-being.
Objectives: To provide an overview of the use of traditional treatments and dietary supplements by cancer patients and to assess the impact of these approaches on cancer care.
Methods: This prospective cross-sectional descriptive study was conducted at the oncology day hospital of a Tunisian medical centre.
Uterine rupture is a life-threatening obstetric complication. The purpose of this study was to investigate the epidemiological features, maternal and foetal prognosis and different treatment options for uterine rupture in healthy and scarred uteri. We conducted a retrospective monocentric descriptive and analytical study of 60 cases of uterine rupture collected in the Department of Gynaecology-Obstetrics of the Center of Maternity and Neonatology, Monastir, from 2017 to 2021.

Objectives: The aim of our study was to assess the knowledge of parturients about breastfeeding and to analyze the factors influencing this level of knowledge.
Methods: It was a prospective, descriptive and analytical, cross-sectional study carried out over a period of six months including 500 parturients who gave birth at the maternity unit of the National Center for Maternity and Neonatalogy of Tunis during the period from July to December 2020. Sociodemographic, obstetrical and breastfeeding related data were collected through individual interviews carried out before leaving the postpartum service using a questionnaire written in Tunisian dialectal Arabic.

Objectives: Explore the relationship between the recalled bond of pregnant women to their own mothers and the development of prenatal attachment.
Methods: Women with a single-fetal pregnancy who consulted the outpatient service of the maternity "C" ward of the center of maternity and neonatology of Tunis and had perceived fetal movements were included. Maternal-fetal attachment was assessed by the Prenatal Attachment Inventory (PAI), and the Parental Bonding Instrument (PBI) was used to evaluate experienced bond to mother.

Objective: This study aims to investigate the association of 5,10-methylenetetrahydrofolate reductase (MTHFR C677T and A1298C) and methionine synthase reductase (MTRR A66G) gene polymorphisms with neural tube defects (NTDs) in a Tunisian population.
Methods: Genotyping was performed by polymerase chain reaction with restriction fragment length polymorphisms (PCR-RFLPs) using the restriction enzymes. Allele and genotype frequencies were compared between mothers and fathers of fetuses with NTDs with matched controls based on an association analysis using SPSS software.
