Background: Percutaneous cryoablation (PCA), having shown effectiveness in treating liver, lung, prostate, breast, and kidney tumors, is now gaining attention for the treatment of soft tissue tumors. PCA functions by freezing tissue, which induces ice crystal formation and cell death without damaging collagen structures. Technical considerations include the selection and handling of cryoprobes and cryogenic agents, procedural duration, and choice of image guidance for precision.

Background: Among all studies describing COVID-19 clinical features during the first wave of the pandemic, only a few retrospective studies have assessed the correlation between olfac-tory dysfunction (OD) and the evolution of disease severity. The main aim was to assess whether OD is a predictive factor of COVID-19 severity based on the patient's medical management (outpa-tient care, standard hospital admission, and ICU admission).
Methods: A national, prospective, mul-ticenter cohort study was conducted in 20 public hospitals and a public center for COVID-19 screen-ing.

The primary objective of our multicenter prospective study was to describe the incidence of late-onset non-infectious pulmonary complications (LONIPCs) in children undergoing hematopoietic cell transplantation (HCT) using sensitive criteria for pulmonary function test (PFT) abnormalities including the non-specific pattern of airflow obstruction. Secondary objectives were to assess the factors associated with LONIPC occurrence and the sensitivity of the 2014 NIH-Consensus Criteria of bronchiolitis obliterans syndrome (BOS). PFT and clinical assessment were performed prior to HCT and at 6, 12, 24, and 36 months post-HCT.

The impact of immunosuppressive therapy (IS) strategies after kidney transplant failure (KTF) on potential future new grafts is poorly established. We assessed the potential benefit of calcineurin inhibitor (CNI)-based IS maintenance throughout the dialysis period on the outcome of the second kidney transplant (KT). We identified 407 patients who underwent a second KT between January 2008 and December 2018 at four French KT centers.

Introduction: Endovascular treatment (EVT) is a well-established technic for acute ischemic stroke, but despite a high recanalization rate of near 80%, at 3 months roughly 50% of patients have a poor functional outcome with a modified Rankin score (mRS) ≥3. The aim of this study was to determine predictive factors of poor functional outcomes in patients with complete recanalization after EVT, defined as modified thrombolysis in cerebral infarction (mTICI) 3.
Patients And Methods: This retrospective analysis based on the prospective multicenter ETIS registry (endovascular treatment in ischemic stroke) in France included 795 patients from January 2015 and November 2019 with acute ischemic stroke due to anterior circulation occlusion and prestroke mRS 0-1, treated with EVT and who achieved complete recanalization.

The care of patients, especially in the field of agitation or psychiatry, requires close coordination between different actors. Interdisciplinarity makes it possible to analyse and harmonise the links between various disciplines with the common aim of solving complex problems. This interdisciplinarity must now become a fundamental in the teaching of health sciences and a prerequisite for the functioning of hospital services, in particular in the formalisation of acute care pathways.
