[Primary liver melanoma: about a case].

Malignant melanoma is a disease with high metastatic potential which starts in melanocytes. The liver is the organ most often targeted for metastatic spread. Nonetheless, primary liver melanoma is very rare.

[Anterior-superior dislocation of the shoulder: case report and review of the literature].

Traumatic dislocations of the shoulder joint are generally described as an antero-inferior dislocations. Anterior-superior dislocations are extremely rare. We report a rare case of traumatic dislocation of the anterior-superior shoulder in a 45-year-old patient whose physical examination showed an anterior-superior subcutaneous protrusion of the head filling the subacromial space.

[Epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic and evolutionary features of patients with glioblastoma: series of cases managed in the Department of Hematology-Oncology at the Mohammed VI University Hospital Center in Marrakech in 2016 and 2017].

Glioblastoma is the most common primary malignant brain tumour. Despite advances in diagnostic and therapeutic treatments, it is still associated with poor outcome The purpose of this study of cases is to describe the epidemiological, clinical, therapeutic and evolutionary features of patients with glioblastoma admitted to the Department of Hematology-Oncology (DHO) in Marrakech in 2016 and 2017. We conducted a literature review of epidemiological, clinical, radiological, anatomopathological, therapeutic and evolutionary data from 40 patients.

[Spontaneous pneumomediastinum: a rare benign diagnosis in young adults (a case report)].

Spontaneous pneumomediastinum is defined as the presence of air in the mediastinum. It is not iatrogenic, due to a trauma or underlying lung disease. It is a rare condition affecting young adults and adolescents.

[Activity report of the Bone Marrow Transplant Department of the Mohammed VI University Hospital, Marrakech, Morocco, over the period 2012- 2018].

Introduction: hematopoietic stem cell transplantation (HSCT) is part of the cellular immunotherapy arsenal. It is used in the treatment of several malignant and non-malignant hematological conditions as well as other extra-hematological diseases. HSCT has been described since 1950 and introduced in Morocco since the 2000s.

Diffuse Capillary Spleen Hemangiomatosis: A Rare Cause of Hepatic Dysmorphia.

Spleen hemangiomatosis is the most common type of benign vascular tumor, and it is usually associated with other visceral localizations such as the liver, lymph nodes, skin, and bone marrow. The diffuse form of this condition is defined by the number of locations in one organ. We report the case of a 48-year-old female who sought consultation for left hypochondrium chronic pain.

Bladder tumor discovered by joint pain in the pelvis and functional impotence of the lower limb.

Macroscopic hematuria is the most common telltale clinical sign for muscle-infiltrating or non-muscle bladder tumors. Lower urinary tract disorders, pelvic pain or signs related to upper urinary tract obstruction may be associated. In our case, the reason for consultation is sciatica, progressing to functional impairment of the lower right limb without any urological sign.

[Drug-induced toxidermia in a patient receiving hydroxychloroquine as systemic therapy for primary Gougerot-Sjögren syndrome: a case report].

We here report the case of a 41-year-old female patient with maculopapular rash occurring a week after receiving hydroxychloroquine 400 mg for primary Gougerot-Sjögren syndrome with articular involvement. The patient had more than 1-year history of idiopathic minimal glomerular lesion, effectively treated with corticosteroid therapy. Maculopapular rashes resolved after hydroxychloroquine treatment was stopped and the patient was given hydrocortisone and desloratadine.

[Ossiculoplasties: about 30 cases and literature review].

The purpose of this study was to evaluate the functional outcomes of ossiculoplasties. We conducted a retrospective study, in the department of ear, nose and throat (ENT) and congestive cardiac failure (CCF) at the University Hospital Mohammed VI, in Oujda, from October 2018 to March 2020. Out of 45 patients with secondary otitis, 30 had gone ossiculoplasty using endoscopic transmeatal approach.

[Squamous cell carcinoma of the gallbladder complicating a cystic dilation of the cystic duct and common bile duct: a case report].

Congenital cystic disease of the biliary tree is a known risk factor for gallbladder cancer. We here report a case of squamous cell carcinoma of the bile duct (BD) complicating a cystic dilatation of the bile ducts in a 54-year-old woman hospitalized for biliary pancreatitis. Abdominal scanner showed nodular thickening of the fundus of the gallbladder and fusiform dilation of the cystic duct and the main bile duct (VBP) with lesion of the tail of the pancreas, initially suggesting mucinous cystadenoma.

[Extra-axial chordoid meningioma: a case report].

This study reports the case of a 45-year-old female patient who underwent brain CT scan which fortuitously revealed de novo lesion. She was diagnosed with left isodense intradiploid lesion in the pterional region with bone lysis uniformly enhancing after injection of contrast medium. Magnetic resonance imaging showed T1-weighted hypointense lesion, spontaneously hyperintense signal on T2-weighted images and FLAIR images, strongly enhancing after gadolinium injection.

[Epidemiological profile of dermatomyositis and polymyositis: a study conducted in the Department of Rheumatology in Marrakech].

Dermatomyositis (DM) and polymyositis (PM) are rare but serious conditions. The purpose of this study was to investigate, by a review of hospital cases, their epidemiological, clinical and evolutionary profile. We conducted a retrospective study over a 15-year period, between January 2004 and December 2019.

[Bird fancier's disease in a child: about a rare and unusual case].

Bird fancier's disease falls within the spectrum of hypersensitivity pneumonitis secondary to immuno-allergic reaction to avian antigens. This occurs only rarely in children. It is found in two-thirds of patients with hypersensitivity pneumonitis.

[Idiopathic granulomatous mastitis: 4 case-reports and literature review].

Idiopathic granulomatous mastitis is a rare benign inflammatory mastopathy. Histological examination of the surgical biopsy can confirm the diagnosis and thus exclude carcinomatous mastitis. Although its etiologies are undeterminated and it occurs mainly in young women, its idiopathic nature is confirmed after exclusion of the other causes of granulomatous disease.

[The role of transvaginal ultrasound in the evaluation of endometrial infertility].

The assessment of the uterine cavity in patients with infertility is essential as many intrauterine lesions can be detected. Transvaginal ultrasound (TVE) is a front-line testing for female infertility. It allows assessment of the uterine cavity for detection of abnormalities responsible for fertility disorder as well as of lesions that may lead to transfer or implantation failures.

[Sub- and intercondylar fractures of the distal humerus in adults].

Introduction: complete joint fractures of the lower end of the humerus are rare and severe injuries in adults, affecting the functional prognosis of a narrow and complex joint such as the elbow. Multiple therapeutic options are available, but osteosynthesis is widely used provided that it can recover stable, mobile, and painless joint. The purpose of our study was to describe the epidemiological, clinical, radiological and therapeutic features of these fractures, as well as to evaluate functional outcomes in our patients.

[Mitral stenosis and acute hemolytic anemia after mitraclip].

Mitraclip corrects mitral regurgitation in a less invasive way than cardiac surgery. These procedures are becoming widespread with the emergence of new complications. We report a rare case of mitral stenosis associated with acute hemolytic anemia after mitraclip treatment in an 82-year-old patient.

[Radiation-induced breast angiosarcoma: about a case].

Breast angiosarcoma is a rare vascular endothelial connective tissue tumor. It is primitive in young patients and radio-induced in older subjects. It is a malignant tumor and it manifests with polymorphic clinical and radiological features.

[Embolization of a false arterial aneurysm in a patient living with one kidney: about a rare complication of percutaneous nephrolithotomy].

Percutaneous nephrolithotomy is a potentially invasive technique associated with a risk of complications, in particular bleeding. We report the case of a 70-year old female patient who had only left kidney and with a history of renal calculi treated with percutaneous nephrolithotomy. Persistent, average abundant haematuria had occurred two and a half months before, requiring computerized tomography (CT) scan.
