[Ocular manifestations in patients with chronic renal insufficiency who are not dialysis: about 60 cases].

Objective: describe the ocular manifestations encounterd in chronic renal failure not on dialysis in order to ensure better management.

Methods: it is a descriptive analytical study, which took place from febrauary 2017 to june 2017. The study was carried out jointly in the Nephrology and Ophortamology departments of the Yopougon hospital and university center.

[Development of a tool to help optimizing drug prescriptions in pediatric units in Côte d'Ivoire: GOPP tool].

Objective: This study aims to develop a tool for optimizing drug management related to clinical and therapeutic contexts of pediatric units in Côte d'Ivoire.

Methodology: A list of Inappropriate prescribings (IPs) was developed from prescription review of inpatients and outpatients aged 1 month to 15 years and followed in pediatric units at 4 Teaching Hospitals of Abidjan during 16 months. A two-round Delphi method was used to validate a qualitative list of IPs by experts according to their level of agreement on a six-point Likert scale of 0-5 (0, no opinion; 5, strongly agree).

[Extrapulmonary tuberculosis versus pulmonary tuberculosis: epidemiological, diagnosis and evolutive aspects].

Introduction: Tuberculosis remains a public health problem around the world. Several factors can influence its location. The objective of this research is to analyze the factors influencing the diagnostic and evolutive aspects of extra-pulmonary tuberculosis (PET) compared to pulmonary tuberculosis (PT) at the anti-tuberculosis center of Adjame (Ivory Coast).

[Uncomplicated herniated discs and sciatica: epidemiologic and semiotic aspects in 143 black African subjects].

Objectives: To study the epidemiologic and semiotic characteristics of uncomplicated sciatica in patients in a university hospital in Côte d'Ivoire.

Patients And Methods: This retrospective study included 143 patients with an uncomplicated herniated disc hospitalized in the Cocody University Hospital from 1998 through 2002; patients were excluded if they were excessively sensitive to pain, had related motor deficits, cauda equina syndrome, or were resistant to medical treatment.

Results: Patients' average age was 42.
