Objective: Anterior cranial fossa dural arteriovenous fistulas (DAVFs) have been almost exclusively considered as surgical lesions. However, new advances in endovascular technology have made the endovascular treatment (EVT) of ethmoidal DAVFs feasible. The aim of this study was to report the clinical and angiographic outcomes of patients harboring DAVFs of the anterior cranial fossa who had undergone EVT as a first-line approach.

Rosai-Dorfman disease is a non-Langherans cell histiocytosis typically revealed by a lymphadenopathy. Central nervous system involvement is rare, exceptionally isolated, and usually consists of dural masses mimicking meningioma. Very few reports have described non-dural-based lesions, especially with an intra-ventricular development.

Background And Purpose: The Woven EndoBridge has proved to be a safe and effective treatment, especially for wide-neck intracranial aneurysms. The recent fifth-generation Woven EndoBridge came with smaller devices. The purpose of this study was to assess the safety and efficiency of Woven EndoBridge treatment of small and very small aneurysms.

Background And Purpose: A subset of aggressive meningioma is associated with higher morbidity and requires a different therapeutic management. This subset consists of World Health Organization (WHO) grade II and III meningioma, characterized particularly with microscopic brain invasion. Numerous studies tried to screen aggressive meningioma on pre-operative MRI.

Purpose: Intracranial arteriovenous malformations (AVMs) cause hemorrhage, and the role of draining vein diameters in rupture risk is controversial. The aims of the present study were to investigate the variables related with intracranial AVM rupture and to examine the association of draining vein diameters and AVM hemorrhage.
Methods: Two hundred three patients were included in this study, of which 117 (57%) had unruptured AVMs, and 86 (43%) had ruptured AVMs.

Background: Balloon-assisted techniques can improve the endovascular treatment of cerebrospinal vascular malformations. The aim of this study was to report the first clinical multicenter experience with the new Scepter Mini dual-lumen microballoon catheter.
Methods: Patients with cerebral or spinal vascular malformations treated with the Scepter Mini at seven European neurovascular centers were retrospectively reviewed.

Background And Purpose: Pre-surgical embolization of large intracranial meningioma has been demonstrated to decrease blood loss and to improve the resectability of the tumor. Few reports have evaluated the risk and benefits of using Onyx in this indication. The objective of our study was to assess the efficiency and safety of pre-surgical embolization in a consecutive series of intracranial meningioma using Onyx.

Objective: Meningiomas are highly vascularized tumors which may recruit pial blood supply. Pial supply complicates tumor treatment in numerous ways. The objective of this study was to establish a reliable MRI-based diagnostic score to predict the existence of pial blood supply in supratentorial intracranial meningiomas and then correlate the score with clinical and surgical outcomes and histopathological findings.

Background And Purpose: Flow-diverting stents can be used to treat intracranial aneurysms that are not amenable to treatment with coils. We analyzed ophthalmic consequences due to coverage of the origin of the ophthalmic artery by flow-diverting stents for the treatment of internal carotid artery aneurysms.
Materials And Methods: From April 2009 to April 2013, the clinical and angiographic outcomes of all 28 patients treated for aneurysms with flow-diverting stents covering the origin of the ophthalmic artery were prospectively collected.
