The purpose of this study was to evaluate the functional outcomes of ossiculoplasties. We conducted a retrospective study, in the department of ear, nose and throat (ENT) and congestive cardiac failure (CCF) at the University Hospital Mohammed VI, in Oujda, from October 2018 to March 2020. Out of 45 patients with secondary otitis, 30 had gone ossiculoplasty using endoscopic transmeatal approach.

The cytobacteriological examination of urine (CBEU) is the most prescribed test in a microbiology laboratory. The objectives of this work were to present our experience in carrying out the CBEU and to share one of the means that we consider very useful in the daily practice of this crucial analysis. This is a 28-month prospective study (March 2016 to June 2018).

Saccharomyces cerevisiae is a cosmopolitan yeast, widely used in agro-alimentary and pharmaceutical industry. Its impact in human pathology is rare, but maybe still underestimated compared to the real situation. This yeast is currently considered as an emerging and opportunistic pathogen.
