Background: Antitumor activity of ipilimumab or BRAF ± MEK inhibitors (BRAFi ± MEKi) following pembrolizumab administration in melanoma is poorly characterized.
Patients And Methods: In the phase III KEYNOTE-006 study, patients with unresectable stage III/IV melanoma received pembrolizumab (10 mg/kg) once every 2 or 3 weeks (Q3W) or ipilimumab (3 mg/kg) Q3W. The current post hoc analysis evaluates outcomes with ipilimumab or BRAFi ± MEKi as first subsequent systemic therapy after pembrolizumab administration and includes patients who completed or discontinued pembrolizumab after one or more dose.

Purpose: To compare the rate of vaginal birth between double-balloon catheter and oxytocin alone for induction of labor in women with one previous cesarean section and an unfavorable cervix.
Materials And Methods: A retrospective and observational study was conducted from 2013 to 2017, at the Saint-Etienne University Hospital where women received induction with a double-balloon catheter for 12 h and at the Grenoble Alpes University Hospital where women received induction with a low-dose oxytocin infusion. Primary outcome was the rate of vaginal birth.

The increase in multidrug-resistant (MDR) bacteria in hospitalized people and the hospital environment has been thoroughly documented. In contrast, little is known about their presence in the community. However, increasing evidence is showing a high level of carriage in people without infectious signs.

Methods: Patients had confirmed symptomatic WM, either previously untreated or previously treated; patients with prior rituximab had at least a minor response to their last rituximab-based regimen.

Introduction: Multikinase inhibitor (MKI) treatments have shown efficacy in progressive radioiodine refractory thyroid cancers (RAIR-TC), but most patients experienced substantial adverse effects. This randomised multicentric study investigated intermittent versus continuous pazopanib administration.
Patients And Methods: The PAZOTHYR study included RAIR-TC patients with progressive disease in the last 12 months, who may have received one prior MKI.

Background: Bevacizumab has been studied in numerous clinical trials in multiple types of cancer; however, patients may receive bevacizumab over an extended period of time. This study assessed the long-term safety and tolerability of bevacizumab among patients with solid tumors.
Materials And Methods: Patients enrolled in a Roche/Genentech-sponsored trial who had derived benefit from bevacizumab therapy as monotherapy or in combination with anticancer drugs were eligible for continuation of bevacizumab in this long-term extension (LTE) study.

3D-printing is part of the daily practice of maxillo-facial surgeons, stomatologists and oral surgeons. To date, no French health center is producing in-house medical devices according to the new European standards. Based on all the evidence-based data available, a group of experts from the French Society of Stomatology, Maxillo-Facial Surgery and Oral Surgery (Société Française de Chirurgie Maxillofaciale, Stomatologie et Chirurgie Orale, SFSCMFCO), provide good practice guidelines for in-house 3D-printing in maxillo-facial surgery, stomatology, and oral surgery.

This study consisted of developing a dressing loaded with silver (Ag) and ibuprofen (IBU) that provides a dual therapy, antibacterial and antalgic, intended for infected painful wounds. Therefore, non-woven polyethyleneterephtalate (PET) textiles nonwovens were pre-treated by cyclodextrin crosslinked with citric acid by a pad/dry/cure process. Then, textiles were impregnated in silver solution followed by a thermal treatment and were then coated by Layer-by-Layer (L--L) deposition of a polyelectrolyte multilayer (PEM) system consisting of anionic water-soluble poly(betacyclodextrin citrate) (PCD) and cationic chitosan.

Objectives: This study sought to investigate patient intermediate-term outcomes after transcatheter pulmonary valve replacement (TPVR) with Edwards SAPIEN valve.
Background: The Edwards SAPIEN valve, initially designed for percutaneous aortic valve replacement, has been approved for TPVR in patients with dysfunctional right ventricular outflow tracts (RVOT), but only short-term follow-up has been reported.
Methods: From 2011 to 2016, 62 patients undergoing successful TPVR using the SAPIEN XT valve were consecutively included into the study.

Background: The prognosis of Henoch-Schönlein purpura (HSP), IgA vasculitis, depends on kidney involvement. There is no consensus on the initiation of treatment for HSP nephritis (HSPN). Some centres start treatment before performing a kidney biopsy (KB) while in others, treatment is dictated by the importance of the clinical, biological and histological signs.

The gene cluster region, CHRNA3/CHRNA5/CHRNB4, encoding for nicotinic acetylcholine receptor (nAChR) subunits, contains several genetic variants linked to nicotine addiction and brain disorders. The CHRNA5 single-nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) rs16969968 is strongly associated with nicotine dependence and lung diseases. Using immunostaining studies on tissue sections and air-liquid interface airway epithelial cell cultures, in situ hybridisation, transcriptomic and cytokines detection, we analysed rs16969968 contribution to respiratory airway epithelial remodelling and modulation of inflammation.

We conducted a randomized, placebo-controlled, multi-arm trial of gantenerumab or solanezumab in participants with DIAD across asymptomatic and symptomatic disease stages. Mutation carriers were assigned 3:1 to either drug or placebo and received treatment for 4-7 years.

Objective: To define for women at low obstetric risk methods of management that respect the rhythm and the spontaneous course of giving birth as well as each woman's preferences.
Methods: These clinical practice guidelines were developed through professional consensus based on an analysis of the literature and of the French and international guidelines available on this topic.
Results: Labor should be monitored with a partograph (professional consensus).

We performed a retrospective assessment of patient- and transplant-specific characteristics and outcomes for 4142 patients undergoing allogeneic haematopoietic cell transplant for myelofibrosis between 1995 and 2018 across 278 centres. Activity increased steadily across the four analysed eras (<2006, 2006-2010, 2011-2014 and 2015-2018). Median recipient age increased over time between the earliest and most recent cohort (49.

The immunomodulatory drug lenalidomide is used in patients with follicular lymphoma (FL) with the aim of stimulating T-cell antitumor immune response. However, little is known about the effects of lenalidomide on T-cell biology in vivo in patients with FL. We thus undertook an extensive longitudinal immunologic study, including phenotypic, transcriptomic, and functional analyses, on 44 first-line and 27 relapsed/refractory patients enrolled in the GALEN trial (Obinutuzumab Combined With Lenalidomide for Relapsed or Refractory Follicular B-Cell Lymphoma) to test the efficacy of lenalidomide and obinutuzumab combination in patients with FL.

Objective: Post-operative CRP on postoperative day 4 (POD) is used for the early detection of complications after colorectal surgery for cancer, but there is no evidence yet that justifies the use of this marker for bowel resection in case of endometriosis.
Study Design: We retrospectively included 66 consecutive patients who underwent bowel resection for endometriosis (stage 4) in Lille university hospital, France, from August 1, 2015 until January 31, 2017. The composite endpoint of our study included anastomotic leakages, infectious or thrombo-embolic complications, hematomas, bowel stenosis, rectorrhagia, voiding dysfunction, and rehospitalization for related symptoms.
