Background: Tattooing is a widespread phenomenon, with an estimated prevalence of 10-30% in Western populations. Study Question: Is the Sexual Activity Questionnaire (SAQ) a valid tool for patients treated for symptomatic endometriosis?

Summary Answer: For women having surgical treatment for endometriosis, we determined that the SAQ is a valid and responsive tool.

What Is Known Already: Endometriosis adversely affects sexual quality of life. Suitable validated sexual quality of life instruments for endometriosis are lacking both in clinical practice and for research.

ENDORECT: a preoperative score to accurately predict rectosigmoid involvement in patients with endometriosis.

Study Question: Could we construct and validate a preoperative score to predict rectosigmoid involvement in endometriosis (RE)?

Summary Answer: We developed a simple preoperative score (ENDORECT) to predict RE.

What Is Known Already: Accurate preoperative classification is important to optimize the surgical approach for patients with endometriosis but there is currently no reliable first-line examination to determine RE.

Study Design Size Duration: This was a single-centre observational study including all women ( = 119) who underwent complete surgery for endometriosis between January 2011 and June 2016 in the Gynaecological Department of the University Hospital of Poissy Saint-Germain en Laye.

Systematic review of quality of life measures in patients with endometriosis.

Objectives: Endometriosis and quality of life has been the subject of much research, however, there is little consensus on how best to evaluate quality of life in endometriosis, resulting in many and diverse scales being used. In our study, we aim to identify quality of life scales used in endometriosis, to review their strengths and weaknesses and to establish what would define an ideal scale in the evaluation of endometriosis-related quality of life.

Materials And Methods: A search of the MEDLINE and EMBASE databases was carried out for publications in English and French for the period from 1980 to February 2017, using the words 'endometriosis' and 'quality of life'.

Introduction The use of paclitaxel in pregnant cancer patients is feasible in terms of fetal safety, but little is known about the effects of paclitaxel on the placenta. Methods: We performed a two-round modified DELPHI procedure mixing endometriosis patients and physicians to select a set of statements to describe the painful symptoms of endometriosis. Each panelist rated each statement based on diagnosis validity and clarity.

Objective: To investigate if leakage circumstances collected using the Urinary Leakage Circumstances Questionnaire (ULCQ) are correlated with physician diagnosis and urodynamic results and resolve after surgery.

Materials And Methods: The ULCQ was developed to investigate leakage circumstances encountered by women with incontinence. Women completed both the ULCQ and the International Consultation on Incontinence Questionnaire-Urinary Incontinence Short Form before clinical and urodynamic examination.

[Cultural adaptation of the female pelvic floor questionnaire (FPFQ) into French].

Aims: The Female Pelvic Floor Questionnaire (FPFQ) is a self-administered tool on pelvic floor function. Our aim was to carry out a cultural adaptation of the FPFQ into French and to assess its psychometric properties.

Is a Self-Assessed Questionnaire Useful for the Diagnosis of Ectopic Pregnancy in Hospitalized Patients?

Background: Delayed diagnosis of ectopic pregnancy (EP) is responsible for maternal morbidity and mortality. Our objective was to develop and validate decision rules for the diagnosis of EP, in patients in their first trimester of pregnancy with symptoms, based solely on a self-assessment questionnaire.

Methods: From September 2006 to March 2008, 574 patients, who have consulted for acute pelvic pain at the gynecologic emergency department (ED) of five hospitals, completed a Self-Assessment Questionnaire for Gynecological Emergencies (SAQ-GE).

Overview and guidelines of off-label use of methotrexate in ectopic pregnancy: report by CNGOF.

Our objective is to describe off-label use of methotrexate in ectopic pregnancy treatment using evidence based medicine. The patient group includes all women with a pregnancy outside the usual endometrium, or of unknown location. Method used was a Medline search on ectopic pregnancy managed using methotrexate treatment; evidence synthesis was done based on this current literature analysis.

The emerging microduplication 3q13.31: Expanding the genotype-phenotype correlations of the reciprocal microdeletion 3q13.31 syndrome.

Microdeletion and microduplication syndromes are well-known causes of developmental delay and/or malformations of differing severity. It was recently reported that a microdeletion at the 3q13.31 locus is associated with a new syndrome combining developmental delay, postnatal overgrowth and dysmorphic features.
