Mandibular proprioception would influence postural control. The development of spatial references are governed by the same afferences. This work aims to clarify the role of mandibular proprioception, implicated in postural and spatial dysfunctions, in the control of cephalic posture and spatial repositories.

Introduction: Dental rehabilitation of patients with alveolar-dental cleft sequelae is a crucial issue in the final stages of functional and aesthetic management of these patients. The objectives of this study are to establish the success of implant-supported rehabilitations for patients with alveolar dental cleft sequelae followed in the Department of Maxillofacial Surgery and Stomatology of Lille University Hospital and the reasons for not using this type of rehabilitation for others.
Materials And Method: Patients treated between January 2009 and December 2018 with implant-supported prostheses at an alveolar dental cleft site were included.

Due to their inhibitory effects on resorption, bisphosphonates are widely used in the treatment of diseases associated to an extensive bone loss. Yet, little is known about bisphosphonates effects on newly-formed bone quality. In the present study, adult male Sprague-Dawley rats (n=80) with a bone defect calvaria area were used and short-term effects of zoledronic acid (ZA) were studied on the healing bone area.

Inferior alveolar nerve (IAN) damage can occur in trauma, cyst enucleation, sagittal split osteotomy or third molar removal, and the consequences are a loss of sensation to the mandibular teeth, gingiva and lower lip. Because of its anatomical position in a bony canal, IAN suture is rarely evoked. The aim of this study was to demonstrate the reality of IAN regeneration by using electrophysiological and histological methods after experimental section and suture of this nerve in rabbits.
