cGAS-STING pathway stands at the forefront of innate immunity and plays a critical role in regulating adaptive immune responses, making it as a key orchestrator of anti-tumor immunity. Despite the great potential, clinical outcomes with cGAS-STING activators have been disappointing due to their unfavorable in vivo fate, signaling an urgent need for innovative solutions to bridge the gap in clinical translation. Recent advancements in nanotechnology have propelled cGAS-STING-targeting nanomedicines to the cutting-edge of cancer therapy, leveraging precise drug delivery systems and multifunctional platforms to achieve remarkable region-specific biodistribution and potent therapeutic efficacy.

Background: Epithelial ovarian cancer (EOC) is a lethal form of gynecological malignancy. Some EOC patients experience relapse after standard primary debulking surgery (PDS) and adjuvant chemotherapy (ACT). Identifying molecular residual disease (MRD) by circulating tumor DNA (ctDNA) detection can timely signal the potential for relapse.

Alzheimer's disease (AD) is a progressive neurodegenerative disorder characterized by cognitive decline, memory loss, and functional impairments. Despite extensive research, its pathogenesis remains incompletely understood, and effective treatments are limited. This study explored the therapeutic potential of agarwood in AD by integrating network pharmacology, protein-protein interaction (PPI) network analysis, and single-cell expression analysis.

Osteosarcoma tissues demonstrated elevated expression of proteins (FDX1 and DLAT) integral to cuproptosis in our preliminary study, indicating the potential effectiveness of anti-tumor strategies predicated on this process. Nevertheless, the overexpression of copper export proteins and the challenge of copper ion penetration may contribute to insufficient local copper ion concentration for inducing cuproptosis. Herein, we engineered a biomimetic copper-elesclomol-polyphenol network for the efficient delivery of copper ions and the copper ionophore elesclomol.

Owing to the limited availability of biocompatible, edible and natural emulsifiers, the development of Pickering emulsions applicable to the food industry still confronts challenges. Moreover, Honokiol (HNK), due to its poor stability and susceptibility to oxidation, most of the existing delivery systems are centered on injection administration routes and relatively complex in preparation, posing significant challenges for industrialization. In this research, a Pickering emulsion system stabilized by gliadin and konjac glucomannan composite particles (GKPs) was constructed using the pH cycling method and was employed for the delivery of HNK.

The Bipolar-Schizophrenia Network for Intermediate Phenotypes (B-SNIP) created psychosis Biotypes based on neurobiological measurements in a multi-ancestry sample. These Biotypes cut across DSM diagnoses of schizophrenia, schizoaffective disorder, and bipolar disorder with psychosis. Two recently developed post hoc ancestry adjustment methods of Polygenic Risk Scores (PRSs) generate Ancestry-Adjusted PRSs (AAPRSs), which allow for PRS analysis of multi-ancestry samples.

Atrial fibrillation (AF) is the most prevalent arrhythmia in clinical practice, and obesity serves as a significant risk factor for its development. The underlying mechanisms of obesity-related AF remain intricate and have yet to be fully elucidated. We have identified FPR2 as a potential hub gene involved in obesity-related AF through comprehensive analysis of four transcriptome datasets from AF patients and one transcriptome dataset from obese individuals, and its expression is up-regulated in both AF and obese individuals.

Accurate preoperative grading of prostate cancer is crucial for assisted diagnosis. Multi-parametric magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) is a commonly used non-invasive approach, however, the interpretation of MRI images is still subject to significant subjectivity due to variations in physicians' expertise and experience. To achieve accurate, non-invasive, and efficient grading of prostate cancer, this paper proposes a deep learning method that adaptively fuses dual-view MRI images.

Spine segmentation poses significant challenges due to the complex anatomical structure of the spine and the variability in imaging modalities, which often results in unclear boundaries and overlaps with surrounding tissues. In this research, a novel 3D Multi-Feature Attention (MFA) model is proposed for spine segmentation. The standard MobileNetv3 is modified by adding the RCBAM (Reverse Convolution Block Attention Module) module, and FPP (Feature Pyramid Pooling) for feature enhancement.

Adipose-derived stem cells (ADSCs) have become one of the best seed cells widely studied and concerned in tissue engineering because of their rich sources and excellent multi-directional differentiation ability, which are expected to play a practical application role in tissue defect, osteoporosis, plastic surgery, and other fields. However, the differentiation direction of ADSCs is regulated by complex factors. Long non-coding RNAs (lncRNAs) are RNA molecules longer than 500 nucleotides that do not encode proteins and can act as signaling RNAs in response to intracellular and extracellular stimuli.

Background: Liver injury from drug-drug interactions (DDIs), notably with anti-tuberculosis drugs such as isoniazid, poses a significant safety concern. Electronic medical records contain comprehensive clinical information and have gained increasing attention as a potential resource for DDI detection. However, a substantial portion of adverse drug reaction (ADR) information is hidden in unstructured narrative text, which has yet to be efficiently harnessed, thereby introducing bias into the research.
